Chapter 20

Date?

Chloe and Halle were helping Normani get ready, Halle had to keep Normani away from the chocolate as Chloe did her make up.

"A date with the accent charmer, things would end rather quickly and we'd be doing som-" Chloe continued to ramble but Halle cuts her off.

"Anyways, Normani, do you like Ella?" She asked the girl who seemed to be in her own world.

"As a friend?" Normani questioned.

"No..." Chloe trailed off and Halle held the same reaction but speechlessly.

"Oh sweetie, why are you going on a date with Ella?" Halle wondered.

"It's a date?" Normani looked at them like they are crazy.

"She did ask you to 'hangout'?" Chloe rose an eyebrow.

"I thought that meant as friends?" Normani eyebrows rose.

"Hm, well at least experiment or something. Seduce her or something." Chloe suggests.

"Chloe-" Halle tried to stop her sister but Normani responded.

"To see if I feel anything for her?" She asked.

"Yes!" Chloe clapped her hands.

"Ok." Normani nodded, thinking of attempting so.

After finishing their makeup, they make their way out of the twins room but then ending up running into Dinah who so happened to return from the gym and she was shirtless with a towel on her head.

"Hi Dinah." Chloe and Halle greets in sync.

"Hello twin, sorry sisters." Dinah greeted back.

"Doesn't Normani look pretty for her date with Ella?" Chloe teased.

"She does, hope it goes well." Dinah tells them and the sisters gave each other an unreadable expression.

"I'm sure it will. We are good friends." Ella appeared and Dinah nods.

"Where are you taking her?" Dinah asked.

"Somewhere to chill." Ella shrugs.

"Nice. I'm going to go practice some more." Dinah waved bye as she exited.

"I'll take her off your hands." Ella offered her hand to Normani who accepted the gesture and they began to make their way out of the facility, of course after bidding goodbye to the sisters.

As they strolled, they entered an awaiting uber and made their way to a small restaurant. It wasn't nothing fancy so they could just relax, eat and talk. Amongst arriving, they seat themselves and Ella decided to start the conversation.

"Can I be honest with you?" Ella sighed.

"Of course." Normani gave Ella a nod.

"I thought you could help me get over this girl, she went back to England without telling me basically ghosting me and I wanna just forgot about her you know." She explained and Normani perked up.
