Levy's tiny hand held onto Lucy's slender ones as they ventured through the Fairy Tail Festival. Levy practically dragged Lucy through the crowds to get to the book stand.

"C'mon!" Levy yelled. "I need to get this new book!" Lucy just rolled her eyes and followed her tiny best friend through the crowds. "An addict to books." Lucy mumbled to herself. "I didn't hear that!" Levy said besides her. "Now hurry!"

When the book stand came into view Levy literally sprinted, leaving a poor celestial wizard in the dust. Lucy rolled her eyes once more and dusted herself off.

"What do you mean you sold the last copy of 'Blood of Olympus'!?" Levy was furious. The sales man coward in fear at the angry Solid Script Mage. "I-I'm sorry m-ma'm." He stammered. "I-I sold the l-last c-copy to the man over there." He pointed to the snack line.

Levy and Lucy's gaze fell upon a young man munching on a hot dog with gooy mustard dripping off its sides. It was difficult to see his face with a long black cloak draped over it.

Lucy had to hold down the angry Levy when she tried to strangle the man who "stole" her book. "Now Levy-chan. We can't do anything." Lucy said, her heels digging into the dirt. "Yes we can. Levy said, dragging poor Lucy deeper into the dirt. "We can just murder him, steal the book, and bury his body. No one would know." Levy's frown turned into an evil smirk which reminded Lucy of Erza or Demon Mira.

When Levy finally calmed down, she stuck her tongue out at the poor book "stealer". "Humph." She huffed "that's what you get for stealing my book. "Well, he technically didn't steal your book." Lucy said a matter a factly.

"He stole it I tell you! He stole it!" Levy screamed, causing the poor blond to almost faint. Levy suddenly slumped down on her knees and burst into tears. "This was the only place where I can find it." She sobbed. "Then that evil guy bought it before me." Lucy rubbed Levy's back reassuringly.

"Now Levy-chan. Let's just spend the rest of the day enjoying the festival." Lucy said while dragging a still sobbing bluenette toward the arcade room.

The next day, Levy was slumped at the bar with her head resting on the wooden counter. "Lu-chan." Levy wailed. "Now I got two big problems. Gajeel has been ignoring me for the past week and I still don't have the book I want." Levy cried into her hands. "Why would my boyfriend be ignoring me at my hardest time?"

"Gajeel hadn't been ignoring you." Lucy said. "He was just um.." Lucy trailed off trying to find the right words to say. "See? He was ignoring me!"

"Who's ignoring you?"

Levy and Lucy turned their heads toward the direction of the new voice who joined the conversation. "Hey Mira." Levy said glumly. Mirajane raised an eyebrow. "What's wrong?" The bar tender asked. "You're usually very cheerful."

"Boyfriend trouble." Lucy said. "And book stealer problems!" Levy added quickly. Mira grinned. "I can help you since I got a bad tempered dragon slayer as a boyfriend as well." She whispered.

"My Natsu isn't bad tem-" Mirajane covered the blonde's mouth before she could say anything else. "Shush child. This isn't about you. It's about poor poor Levy over here." Mira settled down and got comfortable to begin her lecture.

"If your boyfriend is ignoring you, it's probably because of you."

"Wait, wha-"

"Its because you that he has to make you happy. So he will probably buy you a gift. But as you know, dragon slayers don't know the first thing that comes in relationships, so it will probably take a few days for him to get it."

Levy's brain was puzzled. "So it's my fault that he's ignoring me."

"No no. He wants you to be happy." Mira said while grinning. "Is there a book on that?" Levy asked while the transformation mage face palmed. "Levy dear. Not everything comes in a book."

"But what about the book stealer?" Levy asked with faith in her voice. "Can you steal it for me please?" She asked with her best puppy dog eyes.

"What's with face, Shrimp?" A gruff voice said, interrupting the conversation between the two females. "Nothing you should know." Levy said quickly. She turned around and shooed the other two girls away.

"Um... Okay then." Gajeel said while scratching the back of his head. "Anyway, I got you something since its your birthday and all." Levy smiled. "You remembered?" She said, pinching Gajeel's cheeks like an old granny. Gajeel blushed while swatting at Levy's hand.

"Stop it. Do you want the gift or not because I can take it back." "Yes. I do want it." Levy quickly snatched the present from Gajeel's hand. The wrapping was smooth and a delicate bow was placed on top for decoration. Levy's hands unwrapped the paper to uncover a book. To be more specific, the book "Blood of Olympus".

Levy's eyes grew wide like dinner plates. "Where did you get this?" She said, pointing at a stunned Gajeel. "Well, you wanted really badly and it was the last copy at the festival so I got-"

"You were the book stealer?!" Levy withered. "I was looking all over for this! And you had it this whole time?!" The dragon slayer put up his hands in defense. "I didn't know. How the hell should I now?" Levy suddenly launched herself at him, but instead of pain, Gajeel felt her soft body up against his.

"Thanks anyway." Levy lifted her head up and pressed her lips against Gajeel's for a quick second.

"I love you Shrimp."

"I love you too, Book Stealer."
