Fairy Tail Oneshots [ON HOLD]

I'm so so so so so sorry for not updating so frequently! Please forgive!!!! I have been neglecting Wattpad for a while now since I wasn't in the mood to write but now I'm up again so please forgive me for not updating!!! (I hope you didn't give up on this book)

Not again I thought to myself. I was just trying to read the book Levy-san requested for me to read but he keeps on finding me. I buried my face in my book and groaned inwardly.

"What do you want Romeo?" I say sweetly, unlike what I'm feeling at the moment. Romeo had his face close to my book and inching forward every second. "Nothing. I just wanted to show you the new trick Natsu-san taught me." He smiled. "Do you want to see it?"

I wanted to reject but the proud face he had on made me agree. "Fine. Be quick." I lay my book down on the bar table and follow Romeo out of the guild.

"So the trick involves a partner so can you stand like right here?" He points to a flowery field. I walk over and stand perfectly still.

"Okay next don't move even if you think something bad would happen." He next creates two fire balls in his hands; one red and one purple, and combines them together. The colors swirl together and the fire becomes bigger then he CHUCKS it at me and I squeak.

I close my eyes, hoping I can trust Romeo. When I don't feel anything I open my eyes to see the fire barely touch my skin. It felt cool to the touch. I was so memorized by the fire that I didn't hear a scream until I was drenched with water the next second.

I shiver in the guild infirmary while being wrapped in layers  of towels. My hair was damp from the water and my clothes were being hung dry. I was currently wearing an over sized lost and found t-shirt and sweatpants.

Apparently, the reason that I was in this current situation is that Levy, Gajeel and Juvia were coming back from buying food for the guild when Levy saw me with Romeo's flames swirly around me and thought that I was on fire, so she made Juvia see what was happening in front of the guild and you know the rest.

"Wendy I'm so sorry!" Levy apologizes for the 100th time. I smile and pat her head. "It's okay Levy-san." Levy smiles and gives me a big hug. "Romeo is sure going to get a good lecture by Gajeel." Levy whispers. I giggle and look toward the door.

Gajeel was so angry at Romeo's action that he dragged Romeo in the guild hall faster than a bullet. When we came in, Gajeel had Romeo standing outside the infirmary door and Romeo had a scared look on his face.

"But Romeo should know better." Juvia says from the side of the infirmary bed. "That boy has been all up on you hasn't he, Wendy?"

I nod. "Yeah. Now that I think of it, Romeo has been bothering me for a while now, like how last week he was trying so hard to let me see his job request."

~~Flash Back~~

"Hey Wendy. Wendy." I feel a tap on my shoulder. I turn to see Romeo holding a job request in his hands. He had a proud smile on his face. "Look what I have." I nod and say, "Yeah. Isn't that a harder job though?" I squint at the paper.

"Yeah and I was wondering--"

"Hey Roemo? Come look at this!" Natsu calls from across the guild hall. Romeo turns his head and replies with "Wait one second."

"Sorry I'll talk to you later." He says to me. I shrug and shoo him off.

Levy shakes me around after I tell them what happened. She then starts screaming like a crazy person. "He obviously wanted to do the job with you!" She shakes me harder.

"Can you stop shaking me?" I try to say without puking from the dizziness. "Oops sorry." Levy lets go of my shoulders and stifle a giggle.

"But Juvia thinks that Romeo wanted Wendy to go in the job with him." Juvia says besides me."

"What do you mean?" I look at her questioningly. "He never asked me." Levy and Juvia both rolled their eyes at me and said nothing. I frowned. "Another time, Romeo kept on bothering me until I said yes to go to the bakery with him so he could pick up cake for Erza."

~~Flash Back~~

"Hey Wendy. Can you come to the bakery with me please?" Romeo says to me when I was eating my breakfast at the guild. "Why? I'm kind of busy today." I say before shoveling a spoonful of eggs into my mouth.

"Oh. Um.. well Erza wanted me too pick up her order of strawberry cake so I was wondering if you wanted to come with me." Romeo says as he scratches the back of his head.

I shovel another spoonful into mouth. "Oh is Erza not here today?" He shakes his head. "No." He points to the other side of the guild where Erza was talking with Lucy. "Oh. Can't she pick it up with you?"

Romeo face turns red before speaking. "Oh. I kinda wanted to go with.... you."  I stop chewing and look up. "Fine. Just be quick. I was planning to go on a job with Natsu-san and the others."

~~End~~

"So then we come back and later found out that Erza's cake was not there and we ended up getting a small cheesecake for us to share." I conclude. Levy and Juvia just look at each other and smile.

"What?"  I say to their creepy looking grins. "I think Romeo has a  crush on little Wendy here." Levy says while wiggling her eyebrows. My face heats up unconsciously. "SHHH!!" I cover her mouth. "Where did you here that?!"

"Juvia also thinks so." She gives an approving grin. "You guys make a great couple." I throw a pillow at her face to make her stop talking. "No we don't!"

"It's kinda obvious that he likes you." Levy says. "Look at it this way. First he wanted to go on a job with you. Why not Natsu or why not Gajeel and Lilly? Because he wanted to spend time with you. Second," She takes a deep breath before continuing. "He wanted to go to the bakery with you and not because Erza wanted him to go because he made an excuse so he can go on a date with you and only you."

"And now Romeo asks you to help him with his little trick that Natsu showed him."Juvia says, concluding Levy's big speech. Levy nods and waits for my reaction.

I just chuck a pillow at their faces.

It has been a week since the fire incident Romeo hasn't talked to me since then. I would walk into the guild and the next second he's gone. I would walk up to him and he would mysteriously disappear. It's like he's ignoring me.

I finally couldn't take the silent treatment anymore and I march up to Romeo, who was near Mira at the bar, and grab his hand and drag him out the guild hall.

"Why are you ignoring me?" I say, getting to the point instantly. He sighs. "Sorry if I made you feel ignored but the only reason I am is that I feel like I have been bothering you it's just that I feel like you don't like it like I'm all up on your personal space and I feel like I have been a bother. I don't want to be a bother it's just I want to talk to you more often and now I feel like I over did it and--"

"Do you like me?" I interrupt him in mid sentence. It takes me a second to realize what I said. I cover my mouth so I don't say anything else. I face feels like it's melting off because of the heat.

My legs start to move to the opposite direction of the guild but Romeo stops me with a kiss on my cheek. He turns and sprints into the guild. leaving me paralyzed.

I place my hand on my cheek to stop the tingling feeling that the kiss left behind. I blush and play with a strand of my hair. I wanted to tell Levy and Juvia right away but I stop and think about what just happened. I just need some self control.
