So this one shot would be like a continuation of the first Lyon x Kagura I wrote before.

Fire blazed through the city, burning everything in sight as several distant dragon roars ripped through the air. Lyon stumbled through the burning fields with Meredy leaning on his shoulders.
Lyon's heart ached for leaving Juvia and Gray behind. After Gray got the laser beam through his chest, Juvia decided to stay and she too went with Gray.
Lyon felt broken after seeing two of his comrades being taken down, right in front of him. What made him even more broken was he hadn't seen her since Fairy Tail won the games.
"Lyon." Meredy's weak voice barely made a squeak. "I won't be able to make it." Lyon refused to believe what she said. "Yes you will." He said back to her. "N-no I won't." Meredy said before her legs gave out completely.
Lyon also dropped to his knees and placed Meredy on the ground to examine what was wrong. Meredy's breathing was shallow, her chest barely moving an inch. Lyon finally found the wound on her thigh. The cut was deep and Meredy was loosing blood faster than she should have.
"No." Lyon's voice was not even above a whisper when he felt Meredy's hand go limp against his. Now his third comrade was defeated by those filthy dragons.
"DAMN IT!" Lyon smashed his fist into the ground, ignoring the crack his hand gave. Everything was lost. His friends, Earthland's humanity and most importantly, his will to find her.
Lyon heard shifting behind him but now he gave up on living. The foot steps got closer but Lyon didn't move. When the steps were right behind him, Lyon prepared for the worst.
"Lyon?" A soft angelic voice rang in Lyon's ear. The voice made everything stop. The fire disappeared and the dragon roars seems faint. Lyon couldn't stop the tears from falling as he turned around. It was her.
Her dark lavender hair swayed with the wind. Her piercing hazel eyes stared into Lyon's coal black ones. Right when Lyon was about to take a step forward, a blood curdling roar screeched behind them.
A large, black dragon's claw swooped down and snatched Kagura up into the air. "No!" Lyon screamed and reached his arm out for her. The dark creature looked as if it were to crush what was in its hands right this instant. Lyon saw it too.
The anger that boiled inside him finally bubbled onto the surface and released itself as a yell. Lyon's hand formed a searing ice blade as he leaped into the air. He stabbed the dragon right into its eyes as it cried out in anger.
With its free claw, it made contact with Lyon's free falling body and smashed him into the near by rock. A sickening crack was heard and blood trickled down Lyon's head and mouth. He cracked one eye open to see Kagura pulling out her sword and slicing the dragon in half.
Leaving the corpse behind, Kagura ran toward Lyon and slumped down to her knees. "Lyon. You have to stay awake." She said to Lyon who was trying not to give up. Kagura snaked her arm around Lyon's back and helped him sit up straight.
"Don't waste your energy." Lyon said, his hand traveling to Kagura's cheek to wipe away a rare tear. "Don't cry. It ruins your beautiful face. It would probably be the last time I see it."
"Damn it Lyon. Don't be like that." Kagura croaked out in between sobs. Lyon ignored her remark and brought her face down to meet his one last time. Lyon gently placed Kagura's shaking lips into his. It tasted salty from Kagura's tears but Lyon didn't care.
When he pulled away, Lyon muttered a one last I love you. While slipping into the painless blackness, the last thing he would ever hear was Kagura's screams for him to stay.

I am speechless after writing this.
But the bright side is that not a lot of people die!^
Except Gray.
And Juvia.
And Merdy and Lyon.
Okay. Let me reword that. Everyone dies.
TT^TT
Hope you enjoyed your (sad) request kagurascarlet . Your Max x Broom would be next. XD (Which hopefully would be happier.)
