Asked by a Card: Erza x Mest

Gomen Gomen for the late update. *kneels on ground and begs for your forgiveness. But here's the Erza x Mest request for kagurascarlet . Hope you enjoy!! BTW This contains some spoilers from the manga. K? K.

Mest P.O.V

The sun was scorching the earth as I watched Fairy Tail rebuild their guild hall after the year the guild disbanded. I gaze fell on a head of scarlet hair as I sighed. I watched her as she carried the wood blocks like it was nothing and how she easily commanded the others to work.

I can't believe it's been a year and the member still treasure each other. I thought. I sighed once more before getting up from my seat and heading over to the refreshments. I got a water bottle from Lisanna and I plopped down on a barrel. I looked around for the scarlet hair agin but it was no where to be found.

"Mest." A stern female voice broke my train of thought and I almost spit out my water. I turned to find what I was looking for. "E-Erza." I cleared my throat. "What is it?"

"I need help with picking up some supply from the village." She said while taking a water bottle her self. "Gray, Natsu and Lucy are all busy with other work I gave them and you're the most reliable. So we're leaving in 15 minutes." Before I can give my opinion, she turned and left.

~~Time Skip: 15 minutes~~

In exactly 15 minutes, Erza came back with a big empty wagon behind her. "Ok. Let's go." I followed her to the village at a quick pace. "So. What do you need to pick up." I asked when I was beside her. Instead of answering me, Erza handed me a piece of parchment with black scribbles on it. The first word was "Decors."

Moments later, we arrived at the decoration store. Erza told me to get white lights and batteries. With those instructions, she went to get her own things.

I wondered through the store looking for lights. On the way I saw a card stand which said "Buy a card for the special someone!" I unconsciously picked one up with swords decorating it and inside it said 'It would be an honor to be my knight in shining armor to go on a date with me!' What I'm I doing? When it says 'special someone' I think of Erza.

I debated with myself whether to buy it for her or not. Eventually the 'yes' side of the debate won. I picked up what Erza wanted me to buy before heading over to the counter.

When I stepped over the threshold of the store, I saw Erza waiting for me with her cart full of paint, flowers and other decorations. "Finally." She sighed. "Let's go get the other stuff."

After the trip to the stores, I was so worn out. I dropped Erza off at her place and I headed to my own small apartment. I went to my desk and pulled out the card and a ink pen.

I added a messy signature to the card and sealed it in an envelope. when I was done, I started to walk over to Fairy Hills. There, I dropped it off in Erza's mailbox. Feeling accomplished, I headed back.

The next morning after breakfast, I checked my mail. In there, I found stacks of advertisers and one pink letter. I ripped it open, ditching the others. The letter read:

Hi Mest,

I would love to go on a date with you. Is 6:00 pm at the cafe okay with you? (I really want to try the newest cake.)

And next time it's okay if you ask me in person.

At the bottom was Erza's name perfectly written at the bottom.the corners of my mouth curled into a creepy grin.

Today I have a date with my special someone.
