Fairy Tail Oneshots [ON HOLD]

Longboarding: Gale

So I learned to long board recently and I had this idea so... Enjoy!

I stifled a laugh at the scene in front of me. I was holding onto Gajeel's hands as he desperately tried to keep his balance. His arms were shaking against mine and he only moved 2 inches per minute.

"Oi! Don't laugh, Shrimp!" He glared down at me. I giggled, ignoring what he told me. "Okay. Get off. I'll show you again." I placed my feet on the board and leaned forward and backward. "So to keep balance, you space out your feet evenly." I put my feet evenly spaced and used my free leg to push.

"There, easy." I said as I got off and handed the board to Gajeel. "Easy for you to say. You've been doing this for years now."

"That's why I told you to join me in class. Instead you decided to take a class on metal work." I huffed. Gajeel just smirked and gave me a 'Gihi'.

"Okay let's try this again."

After a whole afternoon, Gajeel made little progress. I couldn't figure out the problem while observing.

"C'mon Gajeel. You can do this." I said during lunch break. Gajeel grumbled in his baloney sandwich and took a huge bite out of it. "I will never do it." I smiled at him and patted his hand. "You will. You just need to find your style." And after I said that, I swear, I saw Gajeel's cheeks turn pink.

I set down my own sandwich and stood up and instructed Gajeel to do the same. "I think know what's the problem. You're a goofy."

"Okay..." Gajeel said slowly. "No. Not like that." I said. "I was teaching regular which is left foot in front. Usually people skateboard this way. The other way with the right foot in front is goofy."

Gajeel still looked confused so I pulled him toward the board. "This time turn the other way so you would be facing to your left and set your right foot in front." I pointed to the front of the board. "Now hold on to my hands and set your other foot up." Gajeel did what he was told and shifted around to find a comfortable position.

"This is a lot easier." He said a few moments later. "But I still can't balance well." "I got you." I said. "Now peddle slowly with your left foot in front of the board to get you moving." He gave a big push and the board started moving fast. "Yes! That's it!" I let go. "Now lean backward to go on heel!" I yelled after him.

He did but the board didn't. The board went forward into the grass with Gajeel tumbling with it. I winced and ran to him.

"Are you alright?" I asked when I pulled him up. "Yeah." Gajeel said while dusting himself off. "You're getting better." I said. "No I'm not. I give up."

I sighed at his defeat. "Don't give up yet." Gajeel waved me off and headed for the house. I groaned and stomped over to him. I grabbed the back of his shirt so he was facing me.

Before I could think I pulled him down to my level and smashed my lips onto his. I closed my eyes shut and held him close.

"There. Motivation." I said when I pulled away. "Now get your ass moving and don't give up." Gajeel was still shocked from the kiss so I had to drag him toward the fallen board.
