Date with the Master: Stinerva

Here's one of the requests for kagurascarlet . I'll try to get the other one posted soon too!! ^_^.

I glanced around my once tidy room and sighed. Clothes were littered around everywhere and I was sitting right in the middle of the big pile. Yukino was adding to the pile while she scurried around the room, trying not to trip.

"How about this one?" She held up a black blouse with sequins decorating it. I sighed and grabbed the blouse and tossed it aside. "Yukino. It's just a date." I fiddled with my braids in my hair as I remembered how awkward it was when Sting asked me out.

"But it's your first date, Minerva. It has to be perfect." She grabbed the black blouse again and shoved it into my hands. "So blouse or not?"

After much arguing and convincing, Yukino and I finally finished finding my outfit: the black blouse from before with a light gray tank top under it and a poke-a-dot skirt that reached to my knees, revealing the sleek black heels I had on. Yukino added the finishing touches to my make up before shooing me out the door to where Sting was waiting.

Sting was by the gate with his back to me. His usual spiky blond hair was slicked down with gel.  I mentally slapped myself as I thought how good he looked. Bad Minerva!

"Hi S-Sting." I gave a little wave when he turned around. I saw he was a holding a single rose. When he saw me looking at it, he hands it to me. "This is for you for you." I smiled and tucked it behind my ear. Sting offered me his arm and I took it and we set off to our date.

"You look beautiful." Sting complimented. I blushed and looked down at my feet and mumbled a thanks. "Hey. Relax a little." Sting said, noticing my behavior. "I'm not going to bite you."

"Yeah.." I relaxed my shoulders and the tight grip I had on Sting's arm. "So where are we going?" I asked after the moment of silence. "I was thinking of going to this restaurant that I think that you would like and afterward we can go to the park with a surprise waiting. Is that good for you?"

"Yeah. That's perfect." I smiled to myself thinking this date won't be that bad after all.

"I'm stuffed." Sting and I both mumbled after a meal of my favorite dishes. I giggled at the coincidence. Sting paid for the meal and soon we headed toward the park.

"So what is the surprise?" I asked Sting. He chuckled at my question. "If I tell you it won't be a surprise would it?" I pouted and he laughed harder.

Soon enough, we arrived at the park but Sting pulled me farther into the woods. "Um. Sting? Where are we going?" "To the surprise." I was confused but obliged anyways.

Moments later we arrived to a clearing where was known for its flowers and... bugs.... I had a uncertain feeling deep down in my gut but I pushed it back and told myself I can trust Sting after all. Sting put his finger to his lips to signal me to be quiet.

Soon the sky was filled with green blinking lights. I gasped realizing it was fireflies. The lights made the perfect light show in the complete dark. "This is amazing.." I sighed. "I knew you would like it." Sting commented in the background.

Sting P.O.V

"C'mon Minerva. Let's go back. It's getting late." I said, checking my watch. I was so happy that she was enjoying it that I didn't notice it had past an hour and a half. "Already?" She sighed. "It's almost 11:00." Minerva blushed and giggled, the sound making my heart beat a little faster. "Oops, sorry!"

I put on a fake angry face which caused her to laugh more. She ran after the exit, laughing as I chased after her.

I dropped Minerva off at her place before heading back to my own. "Well I had fun." I said when we reached her front door. "Me too." She answered me while looking down. I blushed at the awkwardness with a million things going through my head. What should I do? She's not doing anything. Should I make a move? Say if she wants to go out again! Do it!

"I-I like you." I blurted.

God! I'm so stupid! Damn it! I mentally face-palmed. I felt like slapping myself for blurting out my confession. I looked down at Minerva with hopeful face. When she didn't say anything I felt like I said something wrong. Of course you said something wrong you idiot! You confessed to her!

When I was about to turn away, I felt a tug at my shirt and then I felt my lips crash onto her's. Minerva's eyes were closed shut so I closed mine as well as I wrapped my arms around her waist.

After what seemed like an eternity, we pulled away. "I like you too Sting." Minerva said looking at her feet again. I smirked. "I know, since you kissed me and all." She turned red at my comment. "S-Sting!" She punched me on the arm as I laughed at her silliness.

After all, she was mine.
