"Fuck..." Becky tugged off the stained white long sleeves school shirt she was wearing and tossed it on top of the her bed. She stood in front of the full-length mirror that hung on the back of her door, frowning at her reflection.

The dark grey school skirt she was wearing, were ones she'd worn to school a million times before without even thinking, couldn't seems compromise with her.

Becky pulled on another a fresh white long sleeves and then started looking through her closet and tried to find one of her neck tie. The red one with white and navy blue stripes running down it, and sloppily wrapped it around her neck.

"Fucking stupid...I'll do it later." She ripped it off and tossed the tie in her backpack, the one covered in patches her Mami brought her back from her travel trips.

She had done nothing right this morning and Freen would be there any minute.

Pushing her hair back from her face, she put a light makeup as she heard a car horn outside. She rushed over to her bedroom window, pulled the curtain back and spotted Freen's bright yellow Jeep out front.

Out of time, Becky grabbed her backpack and ran downstairs. She slipped her feet into her beat up old white nike and put on her blazer.

Becky locked the front door behind her, holding her travel mug full of milk tea in one hand. She barely functioned in the mornings and not at all before her first milk tea of the day.

Freen tossed her a wave, both hands still on the steering wheel as Becky approached. She could hear some kind of Blackpink's music blasting from inside.

The younger girl opened the passenger door with a frown. Her small stature made it next to impossible for her to climb up one-handed with any semblance of dignity.

Freen leaned over to take her milk tea with a knowing smile while Becky reached up for the grab handle on the roll bar and clambered in.

"Is this lifted or something?" She huffed as she took her milk tea back from Freen.

Irin had a Land Rover, and she looked comical enough trying to climb into that, never mind Freen's Jeep Wrangler.

"No. You're just tiny." Freen answered with a smirk as she turned the volume down on the radio to a less ear splitting level.

"You're like an inch taller than me!" Becky huffed.

"And it makes all the difference, Short-stack!"

The older girl was still grinning as she put her foot down on the accelerator, barely giving Becky time to buckle up. She took tight hold of the grab handle again, grimacing as Freen shot past a stop sign.

"Sorry na, it's rare I get to tease someone who's shorter than me... You're not much of a morning person, huh?"

"No."

Becky took advantage of Freen stopping for a red-light to take a sip of her milk tea. She dared not attempt it while the Jeep was moving for fear of getting third-degree burns.

Had she known Freen was such a wreckless driver, she would have insisted on driving herself to school.

"I'm not much of a passenger either." Her stomach lurched as the light turned green and Freen took off again.

"I noticed." Laughed Freen. "You're looking a little green, or is that just you regretting to agree to any of this?"

Mercifully, Becky lived close to the school and Freen was pulling into the parking lot as she asked. She killed the engine and turned to face Becky with a questioning look as she waited for her answer.
