"Alright if I roll a seven you have to give me all your chips," I say to Andrew. He stares at me blankly, "And if you don't?"
I think for a moment before reaching over to him and pulling out his checkbook, I take my lipstick and fill in the details.
"I will give you a hundred thousand pounds," I tell him, smiling.
"Aria are you drunk?"
"I believe in my odds," I tell him as I reach for the dice. "So do we have a deal?"
"yeah we have a fucking deal," He chuckles, shaking his head.
I smirk as I roll my dice and watch as I land a four and a three.
God how delightful.
"Aria- how did you...." Andrew stammers as I laugh loudly, leaning over the table and pulling all his chips towards me.
I shrug as I organize all his chips into pretty little piles, Wow I just love poker.
Andrew sits across the game table from me just staring trying to figure out what just happened.
I hear a loud sigh behind me, "Aria give them back to him, Let's go."
Ares stands behind me and I pout as I slide them back to Andrew who stares, confused.
"She has a rigged dice she swaps before rolling it, Andrew. You're the third person to fall for it this week." Ares tells him and I sigh.
He always ruins my fun. Andrew bursts out laughing as I stand up from the game table, "Fair play Aria, didn't expect that."
I blew him a kiss, and Ares and I walked out together, he'd been going to this new casino he had opened up pretty regularly and often brought me with him while he attended to business. I got bored so I started just playing games with people. The first night I accidentally gambled away three thousand pounds of Ares money so I just decided to cheat.
Though Ares always came back before I got to keep any of my earnings.
"Just let me cheat," I complained as we started walking outside, it was cold now. The November air was chilly and I shivered into my coat.
"I always let you cheat, just don't let you keep the money," Ares replied and I rolled my eyes at him.
"You keep bringing me to the casino at least let me play in there, otherwise I'll just go out with my friends," I tell him as we continue walking down the street.
"Every time you go out with your friends you either come home shit-faced or I have to kill someone," Ares replied, taking out a cigarette and a lighter.
"You never have to kill someone you just choose to. And I don't why you're saying that so casually. I have never accepted you doing that, it's literally psychotic." I tell him, angrily.
"Here we go with the psychotic bit, That's always your go-to insult for me and it's getting dull," Ares fires back and I stop walking.
"Stop acting like an idiot and I won't have to insult you anymore, you think just because you have money and power you get to do whatever you want."
"I do get to do whatever I want!" Ares says, exasperated as he takes a drag of his cigarette.
"Oh so you get to do whatever you want but I can't? WOW, you're really showing me your true colors now jackass," I shout at him as my anger rises.
I don't even know why, my emotions are just always in overdrive around him.
"Don't fucking insinuate what I think you're trying to. I haven't touched another woman since you straddled me in a strip club dressed as a fucking rabbit," Ares says back, his voice just as angry as mine.
