"i did what you said" irene said talking on the phone in yenny while drinking her smoothies made by her.
"that's nice of you!" yenny complimented her making irene chuckles.
"anyway where's my baby yen" irene asked referring to akisha.

"hello" a man from the other side spoke.

then she automatically dropped the telephone in her hand while the tears on her eyes formed she gasped and swallowed really hard, how...how this fucking happened

a tears dropped, she put her hand on her mouth preventing herself not to make sound.
"Irene are you there? what's happening" she heard yenny on the phone but she didn't answer.
"irene are you okay, tell me where you are i'll go with yo---" irene ended the call not minding if yenny will go mad at her but all the matter right now is her man.
irene stood up wiping the tears in her cheeks and grabbed her coat leaving the house with the key in her hands before starting the car, her hands are trembling and her knees are shaking but she managed to drive carefully.
after a minute she already arrived on the place, there's s people blabbering around looking the car who bumped the pillar in the street. irene took a moment before leaving out holding the ring in her finger, all those blabbering around seems so quiet in her ears, she can't hear anything because her focused is on her man saving by the rescuers.
how could the loud from nowhere seems so quiet for her. the tranquility of surronds is killing her ears.
she cannot took another step as she saw how greggy showering with his own blood, a tears again formed in irene eyes. all the promises they made are slowly fading. irene keep convincing herself that she still have hope that greggy just had an accident and nothing more but the longer it goes she's looking at greggy she saw how she can't recognize that face of greggy and how much damage the accident cost greggy's life. irene gasped looking at everywhere, broken glass came from the car, the blood that still dripping down from greggy's body causing the road had blood. irene wanna shout or hysterical but the moment someone tapped her, it knocked the sense out of her that what's happening right now is real. it's a fucking real
"ma'am you must be the girlfriend" a policed officer ask her, irene can't utter a word but the tears keep dripping down from her and in her peripheral vision she saw how the car from hospital leave the place.
"i am the girlfriend but i do need to be in my fiance side. pardon for leaving" then no any further irene leave the place and follow where the emergency car going.
irene still gasping and crying but the moment she stopped her car on louis st. hospital she immediately wiped her tears and got out and ran to where the people bringing greggy, irene still following the body of greggy who's pushing by the nurse but the moment they put greggy in a room someone stopped her
"ma'am i'm sorry but you cannot come in here" irene frowned not processing everything.
"i am the girlfriend i must be on his side!" she shouted, irene feels like dejavu she also been here when she also begging to save her ate life.
"but you can't come in here ma'am" the nurse still blocking her way, irene ran her finger on her hair and starting loosing her patience.

there was the cue for the security to backed off, also the nurse who's about to come in her way also stepped back.
irene looked at the doctor, "save him he's my fiance" the doctor nood and start reviving the bloody greggy laying on the bed while irene who's still crying and kissing her palm are now shaking. irene looked around the nurse she pushed minutes ago are now busy reviving her fiance.
everyone was busy while she, she's watching how everyone trying to save his fiance life. irene knuckles turning into jelly. irene looked around, there's no one watching her so she kneel not minding anyone and closed her eyes while the tears still dripping down from her eyes. she'd been here. fuck.

"ma'am" her prayers got interrupted when someone tapped her, she open her eyes there she saw the man coated with a hospital attire standing infront of her, irene wasn't dumb to realized what's happening.

irene automatically looked at the man who's laying in the bed, she looked at the monitor and looked at the doctor again
"I'm sorry ma'am we tried our best" the doctor uttered but instead of helding greggy irene slapped the leg of the doctor infront of her.
"fuck you!!! you didn't try your best!! your just saying that to pacificy me but you didn't try your best"
"ma'am we try anything that possible way to keep your boyfriend alive but---"
"bullshit! if you try your best while he was lifelessly laying right now! why he was not breathing!!!! why he leave me, why he was dead" irene cried still not standing and now she's facing the foot of the man because she's now bending while crying.
"I'm really sorry ma'am. we really can't do anything more. we tried but nothing happened" then the doctor leave her followed by the nurse but someone held her shoulder making her looked up, there she saw akisha standing infront of her.
"stop crying now" then no any further akisha hugged her followed by the big arms owned by yenny.
"we are here" yenny whispered.
