Summary; Theo was walking in the park when a sudden movement of his favorite person startled him.

(It's not Christmas yet, but I'm just excited)

As Theo was walking down a pathway that was covered in fresh snow, he sighed, thinking this will be yet another Christmas alone. Why was he so unlucky to be lonely, to be alone on such a cheery holiday as this one? But than he started to think about the Dread Doctors and how he manipulated the pack, killed Scott, but worst of all, how he manipulated Liam into killing his own alpha. The chimera looked around, noticing a man that was proposing to his girlfriend, his one knee in the cold snow, the woman probably saying yes as her face lit up and she was jumping up and down. Theo looked further, people giving gifts to each other, another couple sitting down on a bench just holding hands, children laughing as they played in the snow, making snow angels. Theo never really felt like a child...

Suddenly, someone jumped in front of him and handed him a rectangular thing wrapped in Christmas paper. Theo jumped up at the person's sudden movement, so he shook his head and looked from the what seemed to be a present to the face of someone he was so eager to see all day; Liam.

"W-what is this?" Theo asked, stuttering as he did.

"What do you think, dumb-ass, it's a gift." Liam answered, quickly adding the words "for you" because he thought Theo maybe wouldn't understand it was for him. The chimera frowned but took the package anyways, not sure if it was a trick, a joke, or something the smaller boy really meant. Theo looked at it, afraid to open it, but he was desperate to know. "You're supposed to unwrap it. You know how this works ri- oh my God, you never a gift before?"

"I know how this works, and yes, I've had a gift before." Theo rolled his eyes. "This isn't some kind of joke, right?" He asked, still now sure as to why the beta would gift him anything.

"Not a joke." Liam smiled genuinely, quite happy he could find something for the person he liked.

Theo put his bad thoughts aside and opened the package carefully. Once it was complete unwrapped, it revealed a book. He frowned at it a little, waiting for Liam to explain.

"I eh, I heard- kind of, that you liked reading, and I thought you would like this book- but if you don't like it, I'll return it, I'll look for something better!" Liam rambled. Theo looked up from his gift to the boy, trying to fight off the smile creeping up his lips. The werewolf looked at the taller boy in confusion, not really understanding why he was smiling. "W-what?"

"Nothing. But I don't want you to return the book; I like it." Theo suddenly seemed shy, so now it was Liam who was smiling.

"Good." The beta breathed.
