Summary; how Theo and Liam met (not for real, but fan fiction)
"Theo? Remember the night we met?" Liam asked once. That sentence kept playing in the chimera's head...
It was rainy night, but Liam had to go to the woods because he got an emergency call from Scott, saying that the werewolf was in danger. A few Wendigoes came out to get him.
"Scott!" Liam called through the woods, hoping to get a yell back or a sound that remotely sounded like his alpha. But Liam didn't get an answer. He grew worried and rushed through the wet woods until he ran right into someone. How embarrassing, but why in the hell would you even go for a walk in this kind of weather?
"Watch out, dickhead!" The person yelled, pulling off his hood to see whom he had bumped into. He looked Liam in the eyes, being mesmerized by how beautiful the color of them were. He shook his head when he realized he was slightly smiling, his mouth parted."Hey, I know you. I've seen you before."
"What? I-I'm sorry, can't chat. I gotta save someone." Liam muttered, frowning at the person in front of him before wanting to rush and find his alpha.
"You are Scott's beta, Liam Dunbar, right?" The person said. "Scott McCall." He added to be more clear. Liam nodded in confusion. "Sorry, I'm Theo Raeken, old classmate and friend of his."
"Great, great, gotta go now, bye." Liam said absent-mindedly, feeling worry wash over him, his anxiety growing as he was about to run away when he felt the taller boy's hand wrap around his wrist. "What the-"
"Looking for Scott?" Theo asked. Liam frowned, growing suspicious of the boy who wouldn't let go of his arm.
"Yeah, you have something to do with it?" Liam asked, frowning as he thought about how this boy, who knew his name and Scott's name, and he was walking out in the woods in the rain. He might as well be a serial killer or an assasin.
"No, but I can help you. I'm a werewolf." Theo lied, keeping his heart steady as he glowed his eyes the same color as Liam's eyes would be if he shifted into a werewolf.
"Let go of me then, and let's go find that sucker of an alpha of mine." Liam grinned, running and jumping over branches, roots, and mud pools. Theo smirked. He was feeling good about this. This could be a great start to the end of the McCall pack.
But something bothered Theo. A gut feeling told him that it wasn't right to hurt the boy running in front of him. It was a feeling he hadn't felt since he was a child and wanted to punch his sister, Tara, in the face for not letting him play with the other kids because she thought something wasn't right with them.
"There!" Theo yelled, pointing at Scott's limp body against a tree, about to get slaughtered by a wendigo. Liam ran to the supernatural creature and jumped at it with his claws out, hoping to rake them across its chest. But he missed and instead he got the wendigo's teeth in his shoulder, so the werewolf stumbled back against a tree opposite of Scott. Liam let out a pained exhale as he tried to get up from the ground, holding his shoulder where the wendigo bit him.
"Liam, are you okay?" Theo suddenly found himself extremely worried. The words he poured out weren't meaningless. They sounded sincere, they were, not like normally.
Liam nodded, trying to stand up, but what he didn't notice when he was in a short fight with the wendigo was that another had bit him in the ankle. So the werewolf fell to the ground again with a gasp, feeling the pain coursing through his ankle. Theo frowned.
"What's wrong?" He asked.
"I don't know, I think a wendigo bit me in the ankle, but I didn't notice until now."
"How did you not no-" Theo said but was quickly interrupted by a wendigo trying to hurt Theo, but the so-called werewolf turned just in time to punch it in the face. "Jeez, I am trying to talk." He rolled his eyes as a scoff left his lips. Do you think you can stand up?"
"I don't know." Liam asnwered. He looked over the boy's shoulder, seeing Scott was still hurt and about to get ripped apart. "Theo, help him... please." He said as he pointed weakly at his alpha before slipping against the tree to the ground. Theo nodded, hesitant he should go or not but he knew Liam was strong enough. Liam was an IED werewolf who could use his anger to even kill someone without regret in the first seconds, but later when he would realize what he'd done, he'll feel every emotion.
"Scott, wake up. We gotta go." Theo yelled at the alpha, shaking him by the shoulders until he would wake up.
"W-wha-" Scott muttered, not knowing what was going on.
"No time for explaining, we gotta go." Theo said, helping Scott up to his feet, his wounds healing. "Go ahead. Me and Liam will catch up."
The alpha nodded, but before he left, he wasn't sure if he should go because it would mean leaving his beta, Liam...
Theo looked at Liam and said; "yeah, I remember." He smiled at the younger boy.
