Nobu wants to do all the romantic things he's seen in the movies or read in books. Walking along the shore in the morning or having a picnic underneath the Sakura trees, even though the petals keep getting in the food. His favorite thing to do is buy your favorite snacks and stuff them in heart-shaped boxes. It's a bit dramatic but that's just part of his love language.
He's a fan of matching. Having the same color phone case or wearing something that compliments each other. You could be wearing a shirt that has a lemon and he'd make sure to have lemon pins on his jacket. It doesn't have to happen all the time; he just likes it when you indulge him every once in a while. Who cares if it's cheesy?
He loves it when you surprise him with things. Whether it's a home-cooked meal, a new pair of socks, or a poster of a musician or character he likes. He's never really been on the receiving end of gifts, not that he wants to be spoiled or anything. It's just a pleasant surprise. Almost makes him want to cry tears of joy because damn is it nice to know you thought of him.
Nobu would never write you a song because he's too embarrassed! He'll compose the song and play you a little something on his guitar now and then. But! The thought of singing a song, about how much he loves you, for you, scares the hell out of him. Maybe because he thinks it's a bit too much and would have the opposite effect he's going for.
But! That doesn't mean he doesn't write poems in his song journal about how much he loves you. Maybe, when he's brave enough, he'll wrap them in a bow and give them to you.
