"Why don't we sit down and talk a bit? After all, it would be too bad if something happened to Bambi, wouldn't it?"

Shocked, Jason and Bruce looked into Tim's crazed black eyes, who was now giggling buzzed at the head of the conference table as Jack claimed his body. Constantine, on the other hand, was heartily unimpressed by the whole thing. He could interpret the signs from the beginning.

Casually burying one hand in his coat pocket, he only gave an impassive reply:

"What's to stop me from just exorcising you and killing you? I don't care about the boy you possessed."

Both Jason and Bruce literally stabbed the blond with glances at this statement, since they were very much cared for Tims wellbeing. But before either of them could even protest, Tim's distorted voice started cackling:

"Uh, interesting you ask! I thought you would know that we are different from the demons you usually deal with. Our origin is the dark energy of Azarath. Not hell. Besides, we're all half-demons. So your little exorcism gimmicks won't work on us. But before you needlessly consider an alternative, let me tell you that this body cannot survive without me at the moment. While you may not care for this boy, his demonic brother probably does. He's not likely to tolerate it, and I think even you will have a hard time overpowering him. If you drive me out, the boy dies and the monster comes out." Jack finished with a knowing grin.

"What do you mean?" growled Bruce, as he was more than concerned for Tim's life, and promptly got an answer from the good-humored demon that he didn't like at all:

"I tore a hole in his poor little heart the first time we met and the only thing keeping it closed at the moment is me. Cast me out and Bambi is dead within seconds."

"Bloody Bastard."

Constantine went this fact quite against the grain. Because he knew that this dirty rat was right. If it should come to the fight between him and Richard, it would not be improbable that he would draw the short straw. And Constantine still needed him. It was too early to banish him to hell.

But before the blond could think about it further, Jason spoke up in protest:

"Hey! What the fuck are you guys talking about? Why is that Fucker inside Tim?"

Annoyed, Constantine snorted before explaining:

"That's slough. Or rather, he calls himself Jack. He's one of Trigon's seven children born to different women here on Earth. I don't have to tell you who Trigon is after what happened a year ago."

Bruce looked up at the blond in surprise at this information:

"Are you saying he's Raven's brother? All those demons?"

But before Constantine could confirm this, Jack beat him to it:

"Ah yes, my naive little sister. I haven't had the pleasure of meeting her yet. Her pride closes her eyes to her demonic side and makes it impossible to communicate with her. Oh if she knew the damage she has done. But feel free to keep talking mister demon hunter. I am exceedingly curious how much you know about us."

Constantine first looked skeptically into the grinning face of his counterpart and only grumbled disapprovingly before continuing with his explanations:

"Jack and his siblings were bound to the Seven Deadly Sins because it is hard for demons to gain power on Earth. They transform the negative emotions of people into demonic energy. A strategic move on the part of Trigon not only to conquer a new world, but also to end up eating his energetic children and becoming even more powerful. They are the real reason why he attacked this earth a year ago. To devour them one by one.
