Sonia's pov

I couldn't sleep at all last night, I was restless, Dev a I are under the same roof yet so far apart I'm there but he doesn't share anything with me related to his work; I'm scared that something would happen to him and at the same kind sick of the gang lifestyle.

I want to be with him without worrying about ourselves just two normal people spending time together.

I sighed softly feeling that's is impossible at the time being

"Well, good morning sweetheart." He said as he exited his office and I could see the tiredness in his eyes did he spend the night working?

"Morning, but u don't seem to have slept," I Said

"You're right I didn't but I had work to do know my empire won't stand on its own," he smirked leaning closer

"You didn't sleep either, What was on your mind beautiful? " he asked in a way that made my heart skip a beat.

" I was wondering if you could stop working for a few days so we could know..go somewhere, just you and I "

He smiled "Very tempting, I will give you my answer by the end of the day hm ?"

I just nodded not trying to hide my blush.

The moment was interrupted by the door and Leo his right hand was standing there with a serious look on his face.

"Sorry to interrupt your time sir but it's a serious matter. "

I wanted to leave but Dev held my hand to stop me.

"Well..we lost the shipment that was on its way to Bangkok "

The look on Dev's became deadly

"How !" He shouted and Leo was shaking like a leaf

"Sir the men were attacked on the border in short it was stolen from them"

He ran a hand through his hair

"DAMN, tell everyone That there's an urgent meeting tonight and all of these useless idiots must be there or else! " He said and Leo left at once.

His features softened noticing how stressed I was.

He held me in his arms and kissed my shoulder "Don't worry sweetheart, I will take care of everything ."

"I don't care about work, I'm just worried about you, I don't want you to.." I mummer but he placed his lips on mine making me forget any sense if there is.

I kissed him back and thought he would let me go after it like he always does but I found him holding me in his arms bride style and into his huge bedroom.

He placed me on the bed gently

"Sonia, I want you" I felt Like I was in a nice dream I wanted to scream in joy

"I've never wanted anyone like I want you, Dev."

Their lips met in a fiery kiss, a passionate collision of pent-up emotions. Their mouths moved hungrily, tongues dancing in a sensual tango as they explored each other with a fervour that left them both breathless.

DEV'S hands travelled down Sonia's body, tracing every contour, setting her skin ablaze with desire. The intensity of their connection deepened as their bodies pressed together, every touch igniting a wildfire of sensation

They tumbled onto the bed, a tangle of limbs and desire, their hands and mouths exploring every inch of each other as they surrendered to the powerful force of their love. In that moment, the world outside ceased to exist, and all that mattered was the intoxicating passion they shared.

Their love-making was a symphony of longing and devotion. DEV'S hands moved over SONIA'S body with reverence, every touch a testament to the depth of his desire. Sonia arched her back, her breath hitching as he kissed his way down her neck, her collarbone, igniting a trail of fire in his wake.

Sonia finger's found their way to DEV'S hair, gripping it tightly as waves of pleasure washed over her. She whispered his name like a mantra, a declaration of her love and need.

DEV'S lips found Sonia's again in a deep, passionate kiss that left them both gasping for air. He whispered sweet things against her skin, his voice a seductive caress that sent shivers down her spine.

Their bodies moved together in a perfect rhythm,As they reached the peak of their desire, their cries of passion filled the room, a crescendo of love that seemed to echo through the universe. In that moment, they were lost in each other.

Dev's POV

in my way to the meeting I kept thinking about Sonia I wasn't planning for this at all the kiss turned into much more without me thinking of what I was doing, to be honest, I wanted her from the moment I set eyes on her.

And the fact that feels the same surprised me, she seems to be intimidated by Me most of the time.

I pushed those thoughts away because I wanted to focus on my work right now.

"Are they all here ?" I asked Leo as he followed behind.

"Yes Sir, but it's John and Eric who were both responsible for the shipment ."

He said and I nodded

"I see, I will see what to do with these two morans "

Once inside all stood up and greeted me

"All sit, except John and Eric," I said and the look on their faces Amused Me.

"Sir, we know you're angry and we didn't want this to happen but it was sudden ..." John spoke first.

"Shut up!"

Eric swallowed in fear "And you? what do you have to say?" I asked feeling he's about to faint any minute now .

"Sir , I'm sorry, it's John who led us through that way and suddenly Thailand gangsters attacked us and we lost the goods with many men also. "

I dismissed everyone but Leo, John and Eric.

"Thai Yong Sir, he's the only one who would dare to do that in whole Asia"

Leo said and I agreed with him that tycoon is capable of that since he's in the business too.

"I don't want to bother myself with these two anymore u know what to do with them. " I said and left .

Sonia's pov

I still can't process what happened, I have never felt like that before it's nothing like when I was with Rohit although we were married, with Dev it's different because I love him, I gave him my all because I wanted to.

I just can't get over what I felt when he kissed me all over and he wasn't in a hurry he was taking his time so gently.

My train of thought reached his final destination when he came in.

" I'm going to Bangkok and you're coming with me," he said
