CJ meets up with her friends over lunch.
Marco: How was your New Year?
CJ: It was great. I had so much fun.
Allyson: Define fun, CJ.
CJ: Shut up!
Allyson teases CJ.
CJ: How I wish you were there.
Allyson: Do you mind sharing some of the details of what happened?
CJ sticks out her tongue to Allyson.
Marco: Ken was there right?
CJ: Yes.
Allyson: I know you two are getting along so well.
CJ: We enjoy each other's company. No pressure.
Allyson: Wow.
CJ: What I like about him is that he just lets me be.
Marco: That's because, for the obvious reason CJ, Kenneth Vanderbilt is so into you.
CJ just smiles.
Allyson: By the way, what was his Christmas gift to you?
CJ: He gave me the limited edition of a Hermes Birkin bag.
Allyson: What?! Seriously?
Marco: He is too lavish! He would really spend for you huh?
Allyson: You're so lucky, Catherine!
Paul gets into his office. He takes off his coat, and loosens his tie, having a bad mood due to what happened during the hearing. "Fucking stupid!!"
Olga knocks and slightly opens the door.
Paul sits on his executive chair and leans on the backrest.
Olga: You have an incoming call, it's Ms. Celina Thompson, should I transfer the call?
Paul: Tell her that I'm still out of the office.
Olga: Sure. (Closes the door and goes back to her desk)
Paul gets his cellphone and scrolls through his contact lists and calls someone.
Gwen: Hello?
Paul: What the hell was that Gwen?!
Gwen: You sound so pissed me, Attorney Jefferson.
Paul: That was already below the belt!
Gwen: I'm just doing everything I can for my client.
Paul chuckles boastfully. "Really?"
Gwen: Don't tell me that you're fighting in a battle unprepared, that is unlikely of you.
Paul: Where are you?
Gwen: You know where I am.
Paul: I'm on my way.
Gwen smiles and bites her lip. "I'll be waiting."
Paul ends the call rushes out of his office and goes to Gwen's apartment.
Gwen opens the door.
Paul gets inside.
Gwen looks at Paul.
