you win an award💕

you and taylor had just arrived at the award show where you had been nominated for the first time. you were extremely nervous and excited and this was also the first time you'd been at an award show. usually you didn't go with taylor because you didn't fit in with her friends, but she was happy you were here.

as soon as you both walked in, hand in hand, the cameras immediately flickered and were blinding. they all took you by surprise but you and taylor walked straight to your seats, smiling to a couple fans on the way there.

you both sat down and you rested your head on taylor's shoulder while she intertwined your hands together, rubbing up and down your thumb slowly.

when her friends came over and joined you both at the table, it didn't take taylor long to start conversations with them and tell lots of jokes. she had her arm around you still and you held onto her hand.

taylor noticed you staring at her from the corner of her eye while she was chatting and laughing with her friends. "you okay baby?" she asked while flashing her beautiful smile at you.

"yeah just nervous, i really hope i win" you replied.

"nothing to be nervous about darling, you'll definitely win i know it. but if you don't it's no big deal, there's always next year" taylor reassured you and kissed your cheek softly.

the awards began to get announced and as it came to your section, taylor noticed your leg bouncing up and down and rested her hand on your thigh to comfort you.

"and the winner is...y/n y/l/n!!" the presenter read.

everyone stood up and cheered and clapped for you. taylor wrapped you up in the warmest and tightest hug and swayed side to side with you. "i'm so proud of you baby, i love you" she exclaimed and kissed you on the cheek.

"love you too tay!" you said excitedly and squeezed her hands before going on stage to collect your award.

the presented handed you the award and rubbed your shoulder, giving you a small smile.

"thank you so much! i never believed i could've won an award so i want to thank the fans and my team, i couldn't have done this without you guys thank you so much! and thank you to all of my friends for being there when i needed you. and a massive thank you to my beautiful girlfriend taylor, i definitely wouldn't have been able to do this without you by my side. i love you so much and i'm forever grateful i'm yours." you spoke into the microphone and your eyes watered a little because of how happy you were. as you was walking off the stage a few fans were screaming your name "i love you guys so much!!" you shouted up to them.

taylor watched in awe as you gave your speech and was so proud of you.

a tear fell from your eye as you got back to your seat and taylor wrapped you up in another loving hug. "baby why are you crying?" taylor asked you.

"i'm just so happy tay, i can't believe it!" you said looking down at the shiny award in your hand.

taylor kissed you on the cheek and pulled you closer to her. "i love you so much y/n, i knew you could do this" she said softly in your ear.

"thanks tay, i love you too" you replied.
