taylor comforts you (requested)💕

taylor was at the studio all day and you also had some work to do at your office. taylor told you she wasn't going to be home until late so you were already in a pretty upset mood, knowing that when you got home your girlfriend wouldn't be there.

when you got to your work your boss instantly placed tall piles of work on your desk ordering you to get it all done in an hour. you hid how frustrated you were at your demanding boss and politely nodded your head.

you tried to finish the large amount of work you'd been given as quick as possible, it was all stressing you out as you were rushing it. it was something so small, but when you reached into your drawer to grab something out of it and found someone had completely rearranged it all, it pushed you over the edge.

"y/n pick up the pace a bit" your boss said carelessly.

"you know you could actually help for once!" you shouted angrily and regretted it when you saw your boss turn around with a serious look on his face.

"i'm sorry y/n but last time i checked i was your boss. you do what i say, when i say" he said sternly.

you got fed up and pushed your way past him with tears in your eyes as you ran out of the building. "i didn't say you could leave! you know what you're fired" he shouted as you walked quickly to your car.

tears were streaming down your face as you drove home, your boss had always been annoying but he just pushed you over the edge today.

you slammed the car door shut and mumbled to yourself angrily as you tried to unlock to door, groaning when the key didn't want to go in.

you slammed the door shut, startling meredith awake from her sleep, and leaned the back of your head against the door. you closed your eyes and slid down to the floor, pulling your knees up to your chest and sobbing into them.

taylor ended up finishing the songs earlier than expected so had come home early. she was upstairs and when she heard the door violently slam shut she rushed down the stairs to see you.

"babe you oka-" she froze in her tracks when she saw you breaking down on the floor. she hurried over to you and kneeled down in front of you, gently pulling you in for a hug. "y/n baby what's wrong? talk to me" you choked on your sobs and tightened your grip on taylor, burying your face into her neck.

"princess come here" she said as she stood up while holding her hands out to help you up, she took you to the couch and took your shoes off for you.

taylor sat in front of you and placed her hands on your knees "baby if you don't tell me what's wrong, i can't fix it" she said while smiling sadly at you.

"tay what are you doing home, i thought you were working late" you managed to speak out, your words frequently interrupted by sobs and sniffles.

"i finished early and came home, but that's not the point. why are you crying gorgeous?" she said while caressing your cheek and catching some of the many tears falling from your eyes.

"i had a horrible day, and my boss gave me so much work to do, and then he fired me tay" you blurted out.

"what, i'm gonna kill him. he's always been an asshole" taylor said angrily. she leaned up to kiss you and ran her hands through your hair.

taylor's kisses never failed to make you feel better because they were so loving. she covered your whole face in kisses as you both giggled. "my gorgeous, gorgeous girl what do you wanna do, anything to make you feel better" she asked you.

"can we watch a movie? and cuddle?" you asked shyly.

"you don't have to ask me twice" she said as she turned your favourite movie on. you snuggled up close to her and rested your head on her shoulder as she wrapped her arms around you.

after some time, you moved to sit on her lap facing her and wrapped your arms around her and buried your face into her neck. she rested her hands on your lower back, rubbing small circles with her thumbs.

"you don't wanna watch the movie anymore?" she asked and placed a kiss on your head.

"cuddling with you is way better" you said as you tightened your grip around her, not wanting to let go.

she smiled to herself as your eyes closed and you fell asleep on top of her. she was glad she could comfort you but she was definitely going to get revenge on your boss when she got the chance.
