taylors birthday 💕

today was a very special day, so special you were up at 6am making breakfast for taylor. today was her birthday. she told you the only thing she wanted for her birthday was for you to be there, but you wouldn't let that happen.

you were going to make this the best birthday she's ever had. so here you were this morning, up making pancakes for the love of your life. you had so many things and surprises planned for her.

you put the pancakes you'd prepared on a tray along with some strawberries and orange juice, taylor's favourite things. you carried the breakfast upstairs to your shared bedroom and placed it down on taylor's bedside.

"tay, baby wake up" you whispered and gently shook her arm to wake her up. taylor rolled over a little as her eyes slowly fluttered open, it was like watching a goddess. "hey, darling" taylor said softly when she saw you sitting on the bed looking down at her.

"good morning tay, happy birthday" you grinned and pecked her lips. "thanks, love you y/n" she replied and gave you a warm hug. "love you too baby, i made you breakfast" you said after pulling away from the hug and holding up the tray filled with food.

"darling you didn't have to" taylor gasped with a smile. "it's your birthday tay, you deserve to feel special" you said while placing the tray on her lap after she sat up.

"aw thank you, angel" taylor flashed a thankful smile at you as she began to eat the food you made for her. you walked over to the dresser where you left taylor's gift, you picked up the small box wrapped in shiny gold wrapping paper with a red bow on top of it and gave it to taylor.

"what did i ever do to deserve you y/n, you didn't have to get me anything" taylor said while taking the box into her hands. she gently unwrapped it to see a shiny pearl necklace "oh my god it looks beautiful baby, thank you so much" taylor said while reaching for you hand and giving it a soft squeeze.

"you're welcome tay, it's almost as beautiful as you" you replied. taylor's cheeks flashed pink at the compliment and she found a piece of paper in the box, she unfolded it to see it was a handwritten letter from you.

the letter read; "dear taylor, happy birthday i love you more than you could ever imagine. words can't describe how much you've impacted my life in so many ways, you've shown me incredible things, made me realise that life is worth living, but most importantly you've shown me how strong love can be. you have loved me unconditionally through the years and i am forever grateful for that, i promise i'll continue to do the same for you because, in my eyes, you are the most beautiful girl in the world and i want you to realise that. when you're around nothing else matters and i think of you all day long. i could write an essay about how much i love every little inch of you, your beautiful smile, your sparkly eyes, your soft hair, and your kind soul. you are the purest person i've met in my life. happy birthday taylor, these past few years have been amazing and here's to many more. i love you to the moon and to saturn. love, y/n"

taylor was in tears by the time she reached the end of the letter and reached up to wipe the tears from under her eyes.  "y/n i love you so much" taylor spoke through her tears. "i love you too tay" you said and moved the tray off taylor's lap and placed it on her bedside table. you straddled her lap and wrapped her in a sight, warm hug.

"that was the sweetest thing i've ever read baby, thank you so much" taylor said and kissed your temple. "trust me it took me forever to shorten it down to just that" you laughed and taylor giggled softly.

"you want me to put your necklace on for you tay?" you asked her when you pulled away from the hug. taylor nodded her head and passed you the delicate pearl necklace. taylor sat forwards and you swiped her hair out of the way and clasped the necklace together.

"thanks baby" taylor smiled at you. "it looks beautiful on you tay" you whispered and kissed her forehead.

after around an hour and a half of you and taylor watching friends while cuddling in bed, you went to the closet to get you and taylor some clothes. "what are you doing baby?" taylor asked and went into the closet with you.

"getting you some clothes, i've got something planned" you replied while laying out a cute winter dress along with some tights, to keep her warm, on the bed. "ooh, what've you got planned?" taylor questioned, she got excited like a little kid and it made your heart melt. "that's a secret" you whispered in her ear and laid a sweet kiss on her head.

after you'd both changed into some clothes and got ready, you lead taylor out to the car and the whole way there she wouldn't stop asking questions about where you were going.

when the place came into view you saw taylor's face light up with pure joy as she exclaimed, "we're going ice skating?!?!" with a huge grin. "yes baby, i know you love it" you chuckled.

you helped taylor out of the car and held onto her hand as you walked over to get some ice skates each. "what are you doing?" taylor asked, confused, as you knelt down and started untiring her shoes "putting your skates on for you" you replied while looking up at her with a small smile.

taylor laughed as you slipped her boots of her feet "what are you laughing at?" you questioned with a chuckle "i can put my own skates on baby" she chuckled. "i'm well aware, but today is your day and you're getting princess treatment" you stated with a smile and scrunched up your nose. "you're so cute" taylor said and kissed your cheek

you both made your way onto the ice rink, hand in hand, you've never really gone ice skating before so you were a bit anxious. "oh my god taylor i'm gonna fall" you said loudly and gripped onto her arm tightly. "you're fine baby girl, i've got you" taylor said with a giggle.

you spent the whole time attached to taylor's side, afraid of falling. but taylor didn't mind, you both had the time of your lives skating around together.

when you got home, taylor was just getting dressed back into some comfy clothes and you came in the bedroom holding a big cake lit with candles.

you walked over to where taylor was sitting on her side of the bed and held the cake infront of her so she could blow the candles. taylor took a moment to look at the beautiful white cake with "happy birthday taylor!!" written in pink on the tip with flowers around it.

"the cake looks amazing y/n!" taylor exclaimed after she blew the candles out. you placed the cake down on her bedside and sat down next to her.

taylor wrapped an arm around you and pulled you into her "thank you for the best day ever baby" taylor whispered to you "tay, it's only 12. there's still half the day left" you laughed at her.

"oh yeah, well it's been amazing so far" she giggled.  "yeah? well what do you wanna do for the rest of the day? it's up to you" you said and kissed her cheek. "just wanna spend it with you y/n" she said cutely.

"you're so cute, let's watch a movie i'll go get some plates and we can eat some cake" you said before walking out of the bedroom door.

when you came back in holding two plates, you saw something next to the mirror on taylor's dresser that caught your eye. you placed the plates down and then walked over to the dresser.

you saw the letter you had written taylor hung up next to the mirror. "awww you put the letter on the wall" you said cutely, holding your hand over your heart. "how could i not? it's my favourite letter i've ever received." taylor said with an adorable smile.

"i love you so much taylor" you said

"i love you too y/n" taylor replied.

it's kinda random but i wanted to write a sweet chapter also not proofread so sorry if it doesn't make sense.
