Chapter 3: A New Start

~~~Luz~~~

I awoke to what felt like a earthquake only to find out it was Eda and Niki shaking me awake as my alarms were going off. I sat up only to have clothes thrown in my face!? "C'mon kid you and Nik are gonna be late for your first day!" Now I was utterly confused. "First day-? Huh-?" Nikita only chuckled. "Well believe it or not I managed to convince Eda to let us attend Hexside!" My jaw dropped which Nikita closed for me. "HEXSIDE!?" I said loudly making Nikita flinch. "S-Sorry..." I whimpered only to be met with a hug from my brother. "Let's get ready to go ok?" I agreed and soon me and Nikita were standing in front of the school, there were four other students standing in the stairs, two seemed to be getting bullied but before I could do anything Nikita put the back of his hand against my chest to hold me back as he shook his head no, then he held up a finger telling me to wait as he walked over

~~~Willow~~~

Boscha was really starting to get on my nerves along with Augustus, I was about to cast a plant spell when I heard a unfamiliar voice, it did sound authoritative though... "excuse me you four, is there a problem here...?" I looked over to see A HUMAN!? Boscha just scoffed, "oh great... more weirdos in this school... as if Half-a-witch and Tiny weren't enough..." I opened a mouth but once again the human spoke before I could say or do anything! "Sure me and my younger sister may be humans and here that could be weird but if I see you picking on other students so help me Titan..."

He made a choking motion with his right hand but Boscha rolled her eyes and walked into the school leaving Amity behind staring at the human in confusion. "Hello again Amity... I'm guessing that from your expression you don't want to be doing this do you...?" I scoffed "She likes this... she was the one who called me "Half-A-Witch Willow" Boscha just picked it up and went with it..." the human which I just now noticed had purple eyes pretended to lean against a wall doing it actually really well! They even kicked up one of their legs!

"Hmmmm... well... I wish I could tell you something but then I'd be breaking a promise." They said this looking at Amity who was looking between them and somebody else who was hanging a bit ways back. Suddenly the bell rang and we all headed in with Amity and the other two lagging behind a bit which I thought was a bit strange.

~~~Nikita~~~

"Thanks Nikita..." Amity whispered not looking at me, she knew me and Liz could hear her just fine from a distance. Almost immediately I realized I had no clue where I was going so I sped up and grabbed Amity's arm, surprisingly earning a protective growl from Luz which made me chuckle a little bit with a raised eyebrow which made her blush and look away. "Hey Amity, mind helping me and Luz get to Bump's office?" She seemed to pause a little at this but she was staring down the hallway at the two kids from earlier.

"Sure... let me just get myself situated for class..." Me and Luz nodded and let her get her stuff from her locker which me and Luz learned the hard way were sentient and were often out for trouble that hurt my knees... "alright... ready... to go...?" Amity asked us panting, Luz was slightly panting but not as much as Amity, I was just fine but was still in a bit of shock as of what had just happened just a few seconds ago. "Y-Yeah..." Me and Luz answered and we set off for Bump's office earning a scoff and an eye roll from "three-eyes" when we walked past her, Luz stuck her tongue out and I smacked her behind the head as an act which Boscha fell for, I would compliment Luz for doing that later. "Here we are!" Amity called out, I look over to where she was standing, she was standing in front of a door which of course had horns on it which earned a sigh from me. "What is it with high power and horns...?" Amity chuckled a little bit at that but shrugged. "Well it is said that one wrong move with a higher-up and your life is gone!" Amity said with a wave as she walked off.

I couldn't help but realize I had been warm that whole time we were with Amity, I felt calmer than usual... surely not right...? Nikita makes me feel the same way too.... "Hello? Sis?" I snapped out if my thoughts realizing we were inside the principal's office yet there was no principal that I saw, Nikita sat on a chair however there wasn't another chair, he then pulled me onto his lap just then a door from the back wall opened up to show a rather elderly man coming out of it. "Ah, I see you two had no trouble finding your way here?" He asked, it was then I realized that this person was Principal Bump. Nikita was first to speak up while I sat there dumbfounded. "No sir, not exactly hard. Confusing? Yes. Hard? No. We had help from Amity Blight"
