Chapter 7: Creative Christmas?

~~~~~Nikita's POV~~~~

I woke up to find myself alone in my bed, Micheal had said she'd spend the night- oh right that was the day before yesterday- or wait- was it-? Before I could continue my thoughts an energetic King and Luz burst into my room... "NIKITA! WAKE UP! DON'T YOU KNOW WHAT DAY IT IS!?" Well... there goes my hearing... "what day...?" I groaned as I covered my ears with my wings and gently pet the top of King's... head? Skull? Fur? "It's Christmas, dragon!" I glared at King for calling me- wait... "CHRISTMAS!?" Soon I was out of bed and running down the stairs with my flannel pajamas flapping in the wind behind me showing off one of my N&W 1218 shirts that I wore, I screeched to a stop in the living room, there was a full on normal decorated Christmas tree, and there in several chairs were Willow, Gus, Amity, Micheal, Micheal's parents- oh Titan... and- the Blight family!? Why were they here!? "About time, figured we'd get you out of your room by using Christmas as an excuse for your birthday" Eda called from the couch, I looked at Luz and King who smirked together and sat down, Luz with Amity (as much as Odalia hated it), and King on Eda's lap. "So we all presents for each other right?" I said nervously, no way we're all these huge presents for me...? "Nope! We all visited the human realm and-"

It was then I saw two figures standing in the doorway... "mom...? Vee...?" I ran over and hugged them tightly as they hugged me back. ((Oh yeah I forgot to mention this is a timeskip because why not)) "wait... if you two are here... and everyone else is here... then we should have-" Luz interrupted me... and by that I mean she shoved me onto the couch and Micheal nuzzled her head on my right shoulder, oh my Titan she was so adorable! And then a heavy present was shoved onto my lap by Emira... "open it up!" I chuckled and opened but stopped when I saw a familiar white, orange, and blue logo... "a... Lionel set...?" I began to gently tear away at the paper as everyone watched, even Hunter was smirking and there sat the apparently newly released Lionel N&W Coal King set, I couldn't believe it! "What-? But- how-?" Mom stepped forward. "I saw how much your love of the... what is it again? Oh right! The N&W railroad grew while you, Luz, and your friends were in the human realm, and I saw how much you watched the Lionel and MTH models of the N&W trains, I managed to start a fundraiser in town to pay for everything when I came back."

I set the box down and quickly ran over to mom hugging her tightly and crying in her shoulder, I couldn't hold it in anymore, all the excitement my mother had brought just from a simple fundraiser... and soon the rest of the day was filled with smiles as Eda made room in the attic for a model layout. Later in the day me, Gus, Hunter and Lilith were at work setting up a model layout that, while decorated, could be moved between realms if I ever needed it to be.

Nikita: "Hunter, could you roll me that end coach?"
Hunter: "which one this one?"
Gus: "no I think they meant this one"
Lilith: "Gus! Careful! I'm still working on the mountain!"
Gus: "sorry Ms. Lilith"
Nikita: "I mean the one closest to the yard you two"
Hunter: "ooooh! So this one!"
Nikita: "wha- no! That's the furthest away... Gus can you-"
*two of the train meet and crash*
Nikita|Gus|Hunter: "oops..."
Lilith: *sighs* "that's why you should do it yourself Nikita"
Hunter: "Lilith, you didn't get him anything close but a pair of 611 socks, the best you can do for his birthday is help him with the layout"
Eda: "I heard a bang, everything alright up here?"
All: "yeah everything's alright up here"
*they all turned and looked at each other and with a snort began laughing, Eda just stared at them confused and concerned but climbed out of the attic*
