Before you continue I'd like to say I'm so sorry😅
NOAH
Sawyer never came back to the hospital room and when Forrest returned he looked really upset.
"What's wrong?" Morgan frowned.
Forrest sighed. "I'm worried about Sawyer and she's just pushing me away."
I pursed my lips, I wanted to ask what the problem was but I didn't want to pry. Just because we were dating didn't mean I was entitled to everything that related to her.
Lillian was asleep so I slowly handed her over to Forrest. "Where is she?"
Forrest sighed again. "Fuck, Noah I don't know. She stormed into the hospital and I haven't seen her since."
I nodded and kissed Morgan's cheek. "I'll see you later?"
Morgan nodded. "Yeah of course."
I searched the whole hospital for Sawyer, calling her phone while I searched.
Eventually I walked up to a nurse worried about where the hell she was.
"Hey good afternoon, sorry to bother you but have you seen a muscular woman with a wolf cut? She's about yay tall."
The nurse's eyes lit up. "Yeah actually, she was walking about, she went towards the back stairwell. It's out of commision, just take a left turn at the end of this ward and you'll spot the door."
I nodded. "Thanks."
I immediately spotted the stairwell like the nurse had directed. The door was red with an 'OUT OF COMMISION' sign glued to it.
There were no people along the hallway it was in and that should have been warning enough for me. There were other rooms in the hallway that didn't look out of commision but it was a mostly quiet hospital, and I was very worried about Sawyer.
I opened the door and turned on my phone flashlight but before I could even call out or adjust to the room a hand closed around my mouth and nose and a heavily scented handkerchief held to my face.
Another hand was wrapped around my waist and I thrashed in my assailant's arms but slowly lost consciousness.
–
I groaned as I opened my eyes. The room was spinning and my head hurt. My throat felt too dry and my eyes felt puffy.
"Oh good you're awake." I blinked several times as purple hair came into focus.
"Emilia?"
She smiled. "Yeah... before you ask this isn't any personal vendetta. Sawyer is hot but I'm not that woman crazy."
I frowned. "Then–" I choked when she shoved a rag into my mouth.
I tutted. "No speaking. I've been paid handsomely to make you seem beaten and left worse for wear."
I tried to ask 'by who?' through the gag but it just made the cloth move deeper into my mouth.
I breathed heavily through my nose as she picked a knife from a small bag.
"Don't scream too much or you'll choke on the cloth."
My eyes widened and my heart dropped.
Was it Marley? Had we been foolish to trust him?
I tried to push back into the chair that was bolted to the floor but I couldn't.
How had she even carried me out of the hospital undetected?
Where was Sawyer? Was she also being hurt? Had the nurse been in on it?
"Don't think too much." She whispered and slammed the short knife into my thigh.
I screamed into the cloth, the pain almost blinding as she removed the knife from my thigh.
"Did Sawyer ever tell you what I was in prison for? Or maybe you two didn't talk about me."
I sobbed and heaved against the cloth.
She slapped me hard, my head whipped violently to the side.
"I really wish it wasn't you. Sawyer can be very aggressive when enactive revenge. I'll definitely be skipping town."
She slapped me again, on the other cheek and shoved my head back.
I immediately lifted my head when she began to cut up my shirt.
She chuckled. "Calm down, I'm not going to do anything to you... just want it to look like someone had their fill."
My cries got louder against the cloth when she cut apart my bra and began to cut open my jeans.
My legs had been forced open when I was tied to the chair, so when she cut my underwear air hit my bare center.
Emilia hummed while grabbing a first aid kit and leaned down to dress the wound on my thing.
I wailed and sobbed when she was done and began to hit me again. A leather belt left several marks on my thighs and the clenching made the stab wound even more painful.
"Right here." She whispered while aiming the belt at my breast and hitting them hard.
I could barely breathe when she moved back, a fine sheen of sweat on her forehead.
She nodded to herself, dropped the belt and picked a chucky looking mask. After putting it on she turned to me and spoke.
"DIfferent enough that she wouldn't recognise the voice?" The mask had made her voice abnormally deep, almost inaudible.
She picked a polaroid camera and took several pictures from different angles before gathering them and moving to a door I hadn't noticed before.
When she returned she had changed her shirt and had a digital camera in her hands.
I blinked at the harsh light of the camera when she turned it on. "Say cheese." She taunted in the deep voice.
When I wouldn't make a sound she picked up a bat I hadn't noticed either, I immediately started thrashing and sobbing.
"That's better... Say hi to Sawyer."
I wailed into the cloth and tried fighting my restraints again. She turned off the camera and came up to me with a handkerchief, taking off the mask.
"Time to return you." She whispered before snatching the rag out of my mouth and holding the handkerchief over my nose and mouth.
I tried to move away but there was nothing I could do but lose consciousness as the smell from the handkerchief knocked me out once again.
