EPILOGUE
NOAH
2 YEARS LATER
I sighed as I placed the last of my clothes in the closet. Sawyer was hammering away in the backyard.
I walked out to the back porch and watched my girlfriend work. Sweat moved down her chiseled muscles with every movement she made.
My mom had been trying very hard to make up for her mistakes and slowly I was learning to love her a little again.
Cedrick and Caeser got married within a year of dating.
Shepherd joined the army, Jo decided to become a lawyer to someday work for his stepmom.
Hopefully, his infatuation died before he returned.
Walter and Hunter were traveling around the world and Viper was slowly trying to build a relationship with her kids.
Sawyer had been very aggressively against her efforts initially but eventually decided to give Viper a chance. Their relationship was rocky but at least there was a relationship.
Forrest and Morgan's twin were healthy as ever, Both fascinated by Sawyer.
We had agreed not to have children of our own but we showered our nieces with all the love we could give.
Louis our German shepherd brushed against my leg. He was a healthy dog who had failed police training for being too nice.
Sawyer was making little birdhouses for the twins. Walter and Hunter had bought them parrots as a prank on Forrest.
Sawyer paused her work and smiled at me.
She packed up her stuff and walked towards me.
"Go shower." I smiled against her lips.
She hummed against my lips and went inside, Louis following her.
I looked up and sighed. As bummy as the road to get to this point had been. I wouldn't trade the experience for the world.
"Ayy."
I rolled my eyes at Marley.
Louis growled at him briefly but proceeded to ignore him.
"What are you doing here unannounced?"
Sawyer asked sitting beside me and dragging me onto her lap.
Marley shrugged. "Was in the area wanted to drop by. I haven't seen you guys in five months. I thought you'd be more happy to see me."
"Your delusion knows no bounds Marley."
Marley's smile widened. "I love you assholes too."
I AM SAD AND HAPPY THIS HAS COME TO AN END. THIS IS NOT THE LAST YOU WILL BE SEEING OF NOAH AND SAWYER.
