Huang Jiayi stepped off the plane, her heart filled with anticipation and a touch of anxiety. She had moved to Seoul to pursue her studies and be closer to her older brother, Huang Renjun.
Renjun was a member of NCT, the most feared gang in Korea, but she was oblivious to his secret life. Jiayi's presence in Seoul would soon be intertwined with the dangers of the world.

She clutched her trolley tightly, reminding herself that she was here for a fresh start. She started searching for Renjun among the crowd 'where the hell is this guy?'
Meanwhile, Renjun waited anxiously outside the airport, his eyes scanning the crowd. He spotted Jiayi, a smile lighting up his face as he rushed forward to greet her. "Jiayi! You made it!" he exclaimed, pulling her into a tight embrace.
Jiayi's eyes sparkled with joy as she hugged her brother back. "Jun! It's so good to see you. I've missed you so much," she said, her voice filled with warmth.
Renjun chuckled, ruffling her hair affectionately. "I've missed you too, you little punk. I swear to God you're going to love it here!"
As they made their way to Renjun's car, Jiayi couldn't help but feel the old warmth being with her brother. Ever since he left China for his studies, Jiayi started feeling lonely but now she didn't and she was glad to be here.
Once they were inside the car, Renjun turned to Jiayi with a happy smile. "You ready?" Jiayi returned the smile and nodded.
As they drove through the bustling streets of Seoul, Jiayi felt something strange inside her. She wondered if she'd be accepted in this society. Renjun noticed it and asked "Mèimei?" "Hmm?" "Whatcha thinking about? You know you can tell me right?" "I'm just worried" "About what?" Renjun furrowed his brows in worry. "Will others accept me as I am and not as a foreigner?" "Don't worry Mèi. I promise you're gonna love it here" "Okay"
Renjun's expression softened as he reached out to hold Jiayi's hand.
"You know I love you right. And you also know I care for you. So you should also know that I wouldn't have told you to come here if it wasn't good."
"I know. But wait! Didn't you want me to come here because you said you were feeling lonely?"
"Well that is kinda why I wanted you to come here, I mean come one. I've lived here for two years, all alone. I missed you.A lot." he explained, his voice filled with sincerity.
The city lights illuminated the night sky as they arrived at their destination - a modest apartment in a quiet neighborhood. Renjun opened the door, leading Jiayi inside.
Jiayi looked around, her eyes taking in their new home.
"It's cozy, Jun. I like it," she said, offering him a small smile.
Renjun returned the smile, grateful for Jiayi's positive attitude. "I'm glad you do. We'll make this place feel like home."
Over the next few hours, Jiayi settled into her new home. It was Friday and her classes would start next week so Jiayi decided to explore the city and immerse herself in its culture and beauty.
'I guess this is my life now.'
She marveled at the bustling markets, the vibrant street food scene, and the breathtaking palaces. Seoul was a city full of life, and Jiayi couldn't help but feel a sense of belonging.
