Alice stared back at the shocking sight in the mirror, her once beautiful, long, brunette hair now a dark red. Alice's once plain face now had a red heart tattooed just next to her eye. Her arms also had tattoos all - bar one - in red ink. On one arm was a large red snake, a phoinex and a rose. The other arm had a blue fire, a red feather, a red butterfly and a sword. Her clothes had also changed, her once smart white garments were now a short black mini skirt and red crop top. She looked like a completely different person, someone with a taste in pop punk music and sleeping in until 11 o'clock.

"What the fuck" exclaimed Alice, caught off guard and momentarily forgetting her usual restraint to curse. Swearing was contrary to her polite nature, making this a highly uncharacteristic outburst from her. Aya looked at her.

"What?" Aya said confused

"I-I look at me, my- my hair my- my face and the tattoo's" Alice said in a completely panicked.

"oh, you didn't know did you?" Aya's sympathetic words resonated.

"Know what!" Alice said puzzled and stressed

Aya explained that when you obtain your powers, your inner expression is truly unleashed. It is as if your soul has finally received the nourishment it craves. Though it may sound unusual, this is the way it works.

Alice emphatically stated, "My soul is not some rebellious follower of pop punk—it is sweet, kind, and courteous!" She emphasized her point by forcefully enunciating the "p's" in "pop punk" while speaking.

"sure" Aya said almost amused at the idea "why don't you take a look at your room then"

"no I've got to fix this" Alice said still shocked

"Good luck, you can't! sorry" Aya said

Alice ran off to the bathroom now a strange sight to behold. The shower was now a leaf with a wooden shoot in the wall, the sink was a bowl made of water leaves. Alice didn't care she sat on the floor and sobbed for a minute. She picked herself back up and came out of the room, she looked a little flushed.

"fine, let's take a look at my room" Alice sighed.

The two of them walked up to the door of Alice's room. Alice placed her hand on the knob to open the door, as she twisted it the door glowed a deep, blood-red.   She opened the door to a completely changed room. Alice's once central placed bed was now tucked into the corner with red curtains tucking it away from sight. Her boring wardrobe was now built into the wall beside her bed. A cage containing her pet phoenix was now standing in the corner, replacing the mirror that used to be there. All around her room were candles and opposite to the bed was a large fireplace with a Redstone hearth. On the other side of the bed there was a mirror.

"Your rooms are cool," Aya said, seeming pleased with the outcome. Alice couldn't help but notice finer details about her changed appearance. Her eyebrow was now slit and fingernails were painted with a cool fire design. This made Alice smile a little. Until she opened her wardrobe to find crop tops, vests and strapless tops where her blouses and black jeans had once been. Her long a-line skirts, leggings and smart trousers now replaced with shorts, mini skirts and joggers.

"What on earth happened to my wardrobe? Everything is completely messed up. I now have tattoos, red hair, an eyebrow slit, and worst of all, I resemble a rebellious teenager. What in the actual fuck is going on" Alice cried

Lia rushed into the room.

"hey cool room" Lia said

"She's panicking because-"

Alice sobbed, "I look as if I'm devoted follower of pop punk."

"nothing wrong with pop punk." Lia said, Alice sunk down to the floor and put her head in her hands.
"I'll deal with this," Lia said, Aya nodded and left the room.
