Where am I? Blossom thought as she stepped through the aspens around her, little animals scurrying out of her way. The light of an over cast day filtered through the beautiful golden leaves. It was so peaceful here, Blossom could stay here forever. It was almost silent, a small sound in the distance, almost like a dragons sobbing. Wait...

Blossom strained her ears, trying to hear the sound. It was a sobbing dragon. She started to follow the direction of the sound, bending her way through the tall trees.

She came to clearing where the clouds above were a strange shade of purple and the light was cool and small. Blossom saw a dragon, a few years older than her, curled up in the centre of the clearing.

The dragon had light blue scales, making Blossom believe they were a Seawing, but they had an elegant head and neck like a Rain or a Skywing. And they had three wings, in the shape of the neighbouring continent dragons, the Hive wings, but they seemed to be made of paper. And the fan down her neck to her tail was a rosy pink, just like Blossoms.

Blossom tried to approach as silently as she could, trying not to startle the poor dragon. She had obviously failed because the strange dragon turned her perfectly sculpted head, showing the wetness against the splash of pink on her face.

"Sorry, I was just um... passing by." Blossom said as the other dragon's eyes widened.

"Who are you? Why have I never seen you before in my kingdom? If I haven't seen you... why are you appearing in my dream?" the dragon said in reply, thinking aloud.

"A dream? I thought this was my dream."

"No it's obviously my dream, because we're in the mist. And these are native to Penaria." The dragon said pointing to the Aspens around them.

Penaria... "You mean the hidden world? You can't possibly be there since I would have to see a place before dreaming about it."

The mystery dragon opened her mouth, but instantly closed it. "Your... Your from the old continent?" She said, curiosity flaming in her emerald green eyes.

"What in Pyrrhia do you mean?"

"Pyrrhia... that's an interesting name... What are you? A Water-wing?"

"Rainwing." Blossom corrected her. "I'm from the rainforest."

"Ah, the old books spoke of such places... What is your name?"

"My name is Blossom, and yours?"

"Dew."

Dew rose to her feet, her wings limp and dragging by her side. She adjusted her jewellery and dried her face. "Now what in stars name are you doing in my dream, and how are you, well, in my dream?" Dew said, her face growing sharp and fierce.

"Well I was asleep and then I appeared down there by a strange looking dent in the ground." Blossom said pointing down to where she had come from. Dew shook her head and muttered something like, "My crash site."

"How long have you been, I mean, here. In this spot." Blossom indicated around the clearing, pointing out the small huddles of fruit here and there. She saw a large scarf that was hanging from a tree, fish inside.

"Maybe a couple of days... it's hard to keep track of time down here." she said her head bowed as if thinking of something. "Um, your glitching..." she added on, pointing at Blossom's talon.

Suddenly Blossom was ripped out of the dream as she woke up. "Blossom? Blossom?"

Firefly was at the doorway, looking in. She had a bag in her talon. The sun was only just rising, but Firefly was somehow awake. Blossom rubbed her sleepy eyes and looked around her. Everything was the same as the night before, even her packed bag.
