Chapter 3

I woke up to my phone buzzing

"Hello?" I said

"Ahi ya te olvidaste cómo hablar español?(damn you forgot to how to speak Spanish?)" My mom said
Me and my mom continued talking for a while until she had to go. I laid back down for a bit scrolling through Instagram when I decided to search up Colby's name. I found it.

"2.6 MILLION FOLLOWERS?!" I scream louder then expected. Jen came in running threw the door

"WHO HAS 2.6 MILLION FOLLOWERS" she said confused. I jumped of how much she scared me looked at her and laughed

"Bitch you scared the fuck outta me!!!" I said laughing and she joined in the laughing too. She came and sat next to me and we looked at Colbys profile together.

"Damn he's so cute" I said smiling

"Ouuuu it was fs love at first sight" Jen said teasing me we continued looking when a message popped up on the scream

"Be ready at 5, something nice but make sure u have a bathing suit🙂 I've decided it's a date" I read out loud. Me and Jen started screaming.

"Wait before you get up and get ready...I got you something" she said "I'll be right back" she said again running to her room.

She came back and told me to close my eyes and stick out my hands. I did what she said and I felt her place a box in my hands.

"Ok open up" she said happy

I opened my eyes and seen what it was..

"Jen..." I trailed off "you didn't have too"

"Ik...but I wanted to...ik life in Mexico was fun but the jobs over there aren't the best. You've worked so hard for ur family that you got ur self a cheap phone just to be able to put food on the table for them. So I decided to get you a new phone" she said crying. I got up and hugged her.

" you really got me an iPhone 12" I said "I would've been happy with an android"

"Ik and that's why I got you the iPhone...you deserve it and so much more" she said "I got it connected and everything now all u have to do is switch sims"
I did just that and everything transferred to my new phone it had the cutest case on it I couldn't be more grateful

It was 3:30 pm when I decided to start getting ready. I then realized I didn't have a bathing suit. I asked Jen but she didn't have some either.

"There's a clothing store close by we can go real quick if u want?" Jen said

"Yes please" I said

We went to the store and picked out the cutest 2 piece ever we went home and I started getting ready. I put the swim suit under and wore a black dress that shaped my body out so well. My body was my fav thing about myself. I had nice curves I got it from my parents.

"Girl...if I was into woman...I would've wifed you up as soon as possible" she said shocked

" thanks Jen" I said "do you think he'll like it?"

"Girl I'm sure he'll LOVE it" she said still looking at me

I heard the door bell ring and shoot a glance at Jen. And ofc she ran down the stairs to open the door.

"Hey is lily here?" I heard Colby say a little confused

"She'll be down in a minute" Jen said "I love your videos by the way...sorry if that was weird"

"Thank you thank you I appreciate it" he said with a laugh. I walked down stairs and to the front door.

"Hey colby" I said to him. His mouth dropped open looking at me up and down.

"Uh-hi lily..." he trailed off "oh! I got these for you" handing me some flowers.

"Awe thank you" I said taking them. I looked at Jen who was smiling. "Do u mind putting these in water?"

"Not at all...have fun you guys" She said as she took the flowers and closing the door behind her.

"You look amazing by the way" he said while walking me to his car and opening his car door for me.

"Thank you and you look good too" I said looking at him. He closed the door after I got in and walked back to the drivers side. He got in and put on his seat belt and starts the car.
"Ready" he said looking at me

"Of course" I said back.

We were listening to music the whole drive to where ever we were going.

"Wow so ur a Rihanna fan huh" I said laughing

"Who isn't" he said playfully annoyed.

We got the restaurant which was beautiful and he opens my door. As we started walking I felt him Holding my hand. He went in and asked for his reserved table.

"So where you from lily" he asked

"I was born out here but moved to Mexico at the age of 12" I said with a smile
The whole time there we got to know eachother . Turns out hes 26 which is okay cuz I turn 24 on June 15.

"Ready for the second part of our date" he asked while getting up from the table

"Yess" I said kinda excited. "So where are we going that I had to put a bathing suit on?"

"You'll find out in less then 30 minutes" he said
