A New Life

Chapter 1

"LILY!!! Apúrate ya son las 3(hurry up it's already 3am)!!!" I heard my mom scream. I get up really fast and grab my suitcases and run to the bathroom. I got ready and we left I arrived at the airport at 5am with my flight at 6am. I had extra time to kill so I just sat in the waiting area. I wasn't hungry so I just sat there. My mom and little brother were with me and and when they announced my plane was about to bored we got up and started saying our goodbyes.
"Te cuidas mucho mi niña" (take care my little girl) my mom said hugging me trying not to cry. I knew it'll be hard but it's way harder than I thought. I let go my mom after hugging for a while. I look at my brother and seen he was crying.
"No llores Isaac(don't cry Isaac)...I'll come visit and I'll call you every night." I said with tears in my eyes.

"Porque te vas lily? No quiero que te vayas"(why are you leaving Lily? I don't want you to leave) he said crying. Tears started falling out of my eyes

"I know baby...pero es lo mejor(it's for the best)" I said, I kissed his cheek. I got up and grabbed my suitcases and said our last goodbyes.

The plane ride was boring as any other plane ride. I texted Jen telling her I landed at LAX at 10am. The plane was gonna land in a couple minutes I was so nervous to be here...what if I don't fit in anymore?
"Hello everyone this is your pilot speaking I would just like to tell you we are about to land. Thank you for flying with us today" I heard the pilot say over the microphone. I put my seatbelt on. And in less the 5 minutes we were getting off the plane.

Where the hell am I gonna find Jen. I took my phone out to text her when I bumped into someone causing me to fall
"Oh my god im so sorry I wasn't paying attention" I heard a guy say

"No it's okay neither was I" I said still looking down. He grabbed my hand helping me up we picked up my suitcases and I finally looked up

"H-hi um I'm Colby" he said. Holy shit he's cute

"Hi Colby I'm Liliana, you can call me lily" I said back

"Again I'm so sorry I was on my phone" he said "I should've payed more attention"

"No no it's okay i swear I was also on my phone" I said back with a laugh. He laughed also.
"Hey, I have to run my friend just got here but again I'm sorry" he said

"Okay yeah I have to get going to my friend is here too" I said "I'll see you around" why did I say that i don't even know him. I turn around and start walking away when I hear my name being called.

"Yeah?" I say turning around

"Uh um do you think I can have your number" he said With a nervous smile. God he's cute

"Oh uh yeah ofc" I said pulling out my phone. We exchanged numbers and said our byes.
