Authors note:
Holy. Fucking. Shit. I have not updated in TWO. YEARS. Time certainly does fly! I apologize so much to all my readers who have waited for the next part! I have no idea why but I had the sudden urge to update outta nowhere. Btw, there will be a pretty drastic change in writing style considering I'm a bit rusty on writing this story and I've gotten way better! Also, there have been many updates in the canon stuff with Hazbin with the release on Amazon prime (which I have limited knowledge on because I haven't seen it in forever) so I will try my best to tie it into the story without all the drama from the actual show. P.S. THANK YOU FOR 1k+ READS! Sorry for the long message, read on!
Y/N's POV:
~~~
I took a deep breath as I walked out of the elevator and along the hallway. I hoped that Alastor wouldn't be so upset anymore, but with him? He's unpredictable.
I finally stop in front of his door, I feel a dark energy surrounding me, figuratively, as far as I'm aware. I raised my hand to his door knob but shake my head, raising my hand to knock instead.Knock. Knock. Knock.
I was trembling. Wait, why was I trembling? Alastor wouldn't hurt me... but I was still nervous...
The door slowly open on its own, so I took it upon myself to push it open and peer into the room. His room looked different. It was way larger now. It seemed to be some sort of... bayou? Maybe to feel more at home like New Orleans? My eyes land on Alastor looking out the large window behind his desk, his body facing away from me, "Uhm.. Al?"
He was unmoving, I felt my mouth grow dry.
Suddenly, he spoke.
"Y/N. I apologize for my outburst, how childish of me to be so carelessly emotional."
His voice was eerily calm, indifferent. Unreadable.
I didn't like it.
"Hey uh-.. Well you don't really need to apologize.. Worrying about me is fine and I was kind of being a brat..." I said, traces of guilt in my voice.
"Don't. Don't try and excuse me acting so irrationally!" He gave a small chuckle, shaking his head, the neverleaving smile on his face. "However I was mainly frustrated with the fact you spoke with Vox. Him knowing of your existence for some reason feels... troubling to me."
Well I wasn't expecting that as an answer. Sure I was thinking it, but not expecting it.
Maybe I could use this to lighten the mood with my usual charm. Ah yes, that's exactly what I'll do.
I let out a giggle and whistled as I briskly made my way over to him, "Oh Al! Never thought you'd be jealous, but please, I assure you! My loyalty lies with you, I would never dream of cheating on a lanky deer asshat such as yourself!" I said, playful sarcasm evident in my voice as I overdramtically batted my eyes at him.
I heard a low growl rumble deep in his throat and I faltered a bit.
"Too soon? Okay, well, can we just forget about it? I'm probably, like, never gonna run into tv head ever again, okay? So don't get your panties in a bunch. Or shall I say your... tail in twist!" I reached behind and poked his tail, bracing for impact but surprisingly, I didn't lose my head or get my hand cut off! That's a win!
