Bella and I leaned against her truck. We were with the rest of the biology class in our year waiting to load onto the busses for the feild trip. I had already turned in our slips. I glance at Bella who seemed to be staring at a spot on the pavement. My eyes followed her and frowned seing she was staring at where the onion was smashed yesterday. Mike suddenly popped in front of us with a big grin on his face.

"You're alive!" He says. "So I was wondering if you'd want to go to prom with me?"

I side eyed Bella who was staring at Theodore. Quickly I elbowed her causing her to turn her attention back to Mike.

"What?" She asked with a slight blush.

"I was wondering if you'd like to go to prom." Mike says. "With me?"

"Oh, uh prom is not my thing." Bella says. "I'm going to Jacksonville anyways, family thing."

Mike turned to me causing me to raise an eyebrow at him.

"What about you, Nico?" He asked. "Want to go to prom?"

"You're seriously asking me right after my sister rejected you?" I scoffed. "Pig."

I walked away from the two only to run into someones chest. I looked up to see Edward giving me an amused smile. I open my mouth to speak when Mr. Molina calls for us to get on our buses. I turned around and walked to the bus Bella was getting on.

--

We walked through the greenhouse with our arms looped together. Mr. Molina was showing us how to make compost tea but I was distracted by a beautiful flower I let go of Bella's arm to go look it at it. My fingers brushed along the delicate red petals.

"The red tulip." I heard Edward say behind me. "They are strongly associated with true love."

"They're so pretty." I say glancing at him. "Nice way of saying hello."

"Hello." Edward smirked at me causing me to laugh slightly.

I stepped away from the flowers as we started walking through the greenhouse again.

"What's in Jacksonville?" Edward asked.

"How'd you know about Jacksonville?" I questioned. "Anyway our mom's there now, Bella lied to Mike becuase she hates dancing."

I looked ahead of us noticing Bella talking with Theodore. There is something different with this family, but then again it's none of my business. Edward and I walk in comfortable silcence through the greenhouse.

"Can I ask you something, that may be too forward?" He asked me.

"Of course." I smiled at him.

"Would you like to go on a date with me tonight?" He asked.

"I would love to." I blushed. "It's just I've never been on a date."

"Rose and I can help you get ready!" A smallish cold hand grabbed my left forearm.

I turned to see Alice Cullen smiling up slightly at me. I gave Alice a bright smile nodding my head agreeing to it.

"I can just tell, we're going to be great friends." she grinned. "But you may get closer with Rosalie though."

I laughed as she gently took my arm in hers walking ahead of Edward and Jasper. She was listing off all the ideas she had on what I should wear.

"Is all your clothes like they're from the seventies?" Alice asked.

"No." I laughed shaking my head. "I have modern clothes too. These are the ones I stole from my mom."

"I've got to look through your closet." She grinned. "Now, do you own any makeup?"

"No." I shook my head. "I never learned how to do makeup."

"Rose and I will bring some!" She says excitedly.

We walked toward the busses ignoring Eric and Mike playing with worms. Bella was standing there having what seemed to be an argument with Theodore. Alice gave Bella a bright smile.

"Hi!" she says. "Are you riding with us?"

"No." Theodore answered. "Our bus is full."

He hit the doors twice causing them to open. Alice tugged me with her on the bus. I glance back at Bella and give her an apologetic smile. Bella waved her hand with a small smile going to the other bus. Alice tugged me into a seat.

--

I sat at the piano playing Für Elise as I waited for Alice and Rosalie. Dad sat in his recliner listening to me play while also watching the game. Bella was upstairs in her room. I faintly heard knocking on the door but continued playing the last few notes.

"Nico." Dad says. "Rosalie and Alice are here to get you ready for the date."

I nodded as I stood from the piano to see Rosalie and Alice smiling brightly at me. I gave the a weird look as they shared a knowing one.

"My rooms upstairs." I say leading them up the stairs to my room.

Alice immediately went to my closet as Rosalie set up the makeup and hairproducts on my dresser.

"How about this?" Alice asked walking out of my closet with my baby blue dress and white cardigan.

"That would be perfect." Rosalie grinned. "Does she have any flats?"

Alice smirked holding them up in her other hand causing us to laugh. They turned away as I quickly changed into the outfit Alice picked out.

Rosalie helped me put the necklace on while I slipped on the rings

Rosalie helped me put the necklace on while I slipped on the rings. Alice decided to do my hair in a simple half up bun while Rosalie did my makeup very light and natural.

"You're so beautiful!" Alice squealed before we faintly heard a knock on the door.

Rosalie handed me my white clutch before they lead me downstairs. Edward stood awkwardly talking to dad. Dad smiled at me giving me a gentle kiss on the cheek.

"Have her home by eleven thirty." Dad says sternly.

"Of course sir." Edward says.

He lead me out of the house and to his Volvo opening the door for me. I slipped in smiling at him.

--

Edward and I walked along the sidewalk in Port Angeles. We just watched a new Tim Burton movie that had came out. It was the Corpse Bride.

"I love Tim Burton." I say with a small smile. "Thank you for taking me out."

"You're very welcome." Edward smiled gently wrapping an arm over my shoulder.

I started to get a weird feeling of being watched. I glanced over my shoulder to see a woman with vibrant red hair eyeing me. Weird. Suddenly I was behind Edward and he was growling? Edward quickly lifted me into his arms rushing to his car at an impossible speed.

"Edward?" I questioned when he got in the car. "What are you? You were growling and you just ran too fast to be human!"
