I let out an excited giggle as Edward ran through the forest with me clung onto his back. He decided to forgo the jeep and run through the forest letting Bella and Theo take the vehicle instead. Soon Edward set me down on my feet. I smiled brightly rushing over to Rosalie and attacking her in a hug.

A big hand patted me on the head once I pulled away from Rosalie and I look up to see Emmett smiling down at me.

"Hey, there Nic-Nac." He says.

"Nic-Nac?" I questioned causing Emmett to laugh loudly and shrug.

Esme pulled me into a motherly hug causing me to smile hugging her back. She pressed a sweet kiss to my hair before pulling away only to be pulled into another hug. I giggle glancing up Carlisle who brushed a lock of hair behind my ear.

"Bella!" Esme called out as I pulled from Carlisle.

I turned and smiled brightly at my twin sister who gave me a smile back while walking up.

"It's a good thing you girls are here." Esme says. "We need an ump."

"She thinks we cheat." Emmett called out from across the field.

"Knowing you and Theo you guys do cheat." I say.

"Hey!" Theo complained before gently tugging on a lock of my hair.

I turned to Edward faux pouting. "Eddie, Theo pulled my hair."

Edward playfully rolled his eyes before turning to Theo who looked terrified. I laughed as Edward chased his younger twin around the field finally tackling him to the ground. Bella and I giggled as Theo shoved Edward off of him.

"It's time!" Alice sang out holding a baseball in her hand.

"Call 'em as you see 'em girls." Esme says.

"You can, Bells." I say. "I'm just gonna sit here and watch."

Bella playfully glared at me before she crouched beside Esme. Rosalie was up to bat first. I watched as Alice held the ball close to her and she threw her leg up throwing it at lightning speed before there was a loud clap of thunder Rosalie hit the ball making a similar sound of thunder.

"That's gotta be a home run." Bella breathed.

"Edward's very fast." Esme smiled glancing at me.

I grin watching as Edward ran after the ball and caught it throwing it back to Esme who caught it a second before Rosalie touched home.

"You're out." Bella mumbled slightly causing Rosalie to huff and glare at her.

"It's just a game, babe." Emmett called out.

"Easy, kitty." Carlisle smiled gently at the blonde as he walked up to bat.

I smiled as Rosalie sat down beside me in the grass. We watched as Alice threw the ball again. Carlisle hit it in time with the thunder.

"I can see why you need this weather." I say to Rosalie.

She gave me a smile taking the hat off my head and started braiding my hair. I watched as Edward and Emmett went to jump after the ball and ended up colliding. It sounded like boulders colliding. Rosalie and I started cackling at our lovers as Emmett pushed Edward glaring playfully at him. Theo was cackling from beside Jasper.

Jasper smirked walking up to bat while doing tricks with his bat.

"Show off." I scoffed causing him to smirk at me doing another spin.

Alice threw the ball and Jasper hit it with a lot of force. I giggled as Emmett climbed up a tree like a freaking monkey catching the ball.

"My monkey man." Rosalie smiled.

--

Rosalie was up to bat again. She gave me a big grin when I wolf whistled to her giggling. She hit the ball causing it to fly through the treeline. Alice let out a strangled gasp.

"Stop!" she screamed. "They were leaving, but they heard us."

Suddenly everyone was surround Alice with worried looks on their faces.

"Alice what is it?" Jasper asked his wife.

"Three nomads." She says. "They were heading south."

"I thought you said they left." Rosalie hissed while pulling me between her and Edward.

"They were but they heard us playing and decided to turn around." Alice says.

"Come on," Edward and Theo say at the same time. "Let's get you girls out of here."

"It's too late." Carlisle sighed.

Everyone suddenly stood in front of Bella and I. My hand latched onto the back of Edwards shirt. Theo made Bella take her hair down as she was freaking out. Rosalie had made a snide comment about smelling her across the field that caused me to give her a slight glare. I peeked around Edward's arm to see three red-eyed vampires approaching barefoot. A woman with wild red hair, a man with long blonde hair tied at the nape of his neck and a dark skinned man with dreads.

"I believe this belongs to you." The dark skin man said as he held up a baseball before throwing it toward Carlisle who caught it.

"Thank you." Carlisle nodded.

"I'm Laurent, this is James and Victoria." The man says.

"I'm Carlisle and this is my family." Carlisle replied. "I'm afraid your hunting activities have caused something of a mess for us."

"Our apologies." The man, Laurent says. "We didn't realize the territory had been claimed."

"Yes." Carlisle nodded slightly. "We maintain a permanent residence nearby."

"Really?" Laurent asked shocked looking between his two friends. "Well, we won't be a problem anymore. We were just passing through."

The other man, James looked toward me causing me to quickly hide behind Edward again terrified by the look in his eyes.

"The humans were tracking us, we led them east." The woman says a smirk evident in her voice. "You should be safe."

"Excellent." Carlisle says sounding forced.

"Could you use three more players?" Laurent asked and the Cullen's stayed silent. "Come on, just one game."

"Sure." Carlisle says. "Why not, a few of us were just leaving, you can take their place. We'll bat first."

I peek around Edward again just as Carlisle casually tossed the baseball to Laurent. It was millimeters from his face when Victoria caught it.

"I'm the one with the wicked curve ball." She says eyeing Edward causing me to glare clenching the back of his shirt.

"Well, I think we could handle that." Jasper says causing the three vampires to oh.

Suddenly the wind had picked up causing a chill to go down my spine. The blond sniffed the air before crouching slightly with a smirk.

"You brought a snack." He says eyeing Bella.

The Cullen's minus Rosalie crouched slightly. Esme had pushed Bella behind her.

"A human?" Laurent says.

"She's with us." Carlisle snapped. "It'd be best if we'd leave."

"I can see the game is over," Laurent says. "We'll go now, James."
