Chapter 1:
♥Sarah's POV♥
I knealt down and scooped up the dark, adorable child in my arms. He played with the ends of my hair. This kid was just too adorable.
For the past two months, I've been in Ghana, Africa helping provide the needs of the children. I did anything from teaching the kids to building new homes and shelters. I really love doing this kind of stuff. It makes me feel really good about myself. I'm literally always in another place helping out as charity work. I don't really do much else. And considering all the places I go don't have electricity, I haven't watched TV or listened to the radio in about 3 years when I started my work. So I guess you could say I don't know what's going on in the world.
The child in my arms cried for his mother, but he knew, as well as I did, that she was dead. My heart breaks for these children. I hate to see them cry. They are put through so much, it isn't fair to these angels.
"Sarah can you sing for me?"
"Of course sweetie."
And with that, I began singing.
♥Harry's POV♥
The lads and I had just arrived yesterday to Ghana. We are doing some amazing charity work for the kids here for Red Nose Day. I was really excited.
We stayed in our trailer all night since we only just arrived late the previous day, so we haven't really been out. I'm starting today though in the local building where they held school. I was really eager for today, although I was never really good in maths. Oh well, maybe it wouldn't be too hard. Hopefully it was something I could manage.
I got up from thinking and got dressed in some casual khaki shorts and a plain white tshirt. I didn't want to flaunt my money and good clothes around here. That would be very inconsiderate.
When I stepped out of my trailer, I took in my surroundings. There were old beat-up looking slums, dirt, garbage, and children playing with one another. It surprised me how even though they had a hard life they can still find happiness and make the best of it.
I continued walking down a dirt path to a building I was advised to be a school. As I approached the door I could hear multiple voices talking and laughing, but they were muffled cause there were so many. I entered, but everyone was so engrossed in what they were doing that nobody noticed. Hmm... that's a first.
My eyes wandered the classroom and stopped on the back of a girl who was just a tad bit shorter then me. She had blonde hair that reached the middle of her back in waves and I slim body. She had a crying child in her arms as she sang to him softly. It seemed to calm him down a bit. I recognized the lyrics to be The Fray: I'll Look After You. It was a good song choice, but I was more focused on her voice itself. It was breathtaking. Hands down better than anyone in the actual music industry. If she was as beautiful as her voice, then this girl could be a keeper.
I strolled up behind her and my voice escaped my lips before my brain could catch up.
"That was incredible, love."
"Oh... umm, thanks," she said surprised as she turned to face me.
My eyes slightly widened at the sight in front of me. This girl was absolutely beautiful. Her dark blonde waves that parted close to her middle, her bright green eyes with the littlest hint of brown in the, her long eyelashes that cast small shadows on her perfect cheekbones. When she turned, her face was was close to mine so I could see the light freckles that dance upon her nose and on the curve of her upper cheeks. She was gorgeous. I noticed I was staring and quickly stepped back a little and cleared my throat embarrassed.
"Nice view?" She said while giggling making me blush.
What? I never blush. Especially because of someone I just met. I'm always the one to make the girl blush, not the other way around.
Before I could say anything she playfully rolled her eyes and turned her back to me and bent down to pick something up I assume. I could help but stare at her bum. She was wearing jean shorts and a pink tank top. Pretty hot if I must say. She caught me looking and I blushed. AGAIN! What the actual hell?!
"You know I would at least like to know your name before you stare at my ass."
Wait. What?
"You don't know who I am?"
"Umm no? Should I? All I know is your the perv who keeps checking me out."
"Well I just thought you should cause I'm part of a world known boyband. One Direction ring a bell? And sorry for staring, its just kinda hard when there's such a beautiful girl standing in front of me." I winked making her blush. Score! One point for Harry!
"Stop being such a flirt," she said. "And sorry but I still don't know who you are. I'm not really caught up in the real world."
She has got to be kidding me. But its pretty nice having someone who will talk to you for you, and not because your famous.
"So what's your name pervy boy?"
"Oh. Harry Styles. Is erm... my umm name."
I stick my hand out for her to shake which she gladly took it and reciprocated my actions by introducing herself as well.
"Sarah Miller."
I smiled at her and she smiled back.
Sarah Miller. I'm gonna have to keep my eye on her for the rest of this trip. She is definitely someone who I wanna get to know.
