The bed was decorated with different types of flowers, especially rose petals were their on the bed, making the shape of a heart on the bed. The light was dim with lightened candles. It was looking like the perfect surhagratbed that I had seen in many movies and serials.
I was continuously gazing at the beautiful sight while entering the room.
"Bhabhi, this is for you and Bhaiya only. Come inside." My sister-in-law Avantika teased me.
It gave me a strange feeling, that was all new to me thar house, sorry mansion, that was really a big mansion with beautiful decoration and lights inside and outside it. The people were all new, though my mother-in-law assured me at the time I entered the mansion that, once those people were unknown to her also but now, after 29 years she was feeling so content that she married my father-in-law.
" Bhabhi let's move inside. Bhaiya will be here in some time." The moment she uttered the last part, my heart started beating very fast. I started fiddling with my hand as usual, like what I would do when get nervous or anxious.
Giving her a nervous smile, I moved into the room, She left me there to explore the room before her brother would come.
I went towards the washroom to change and go to bed before he would even come to the room. I started searching for the bathroom, but instead, I opened a gate to a different room. It was a big walk-in closet, where one side was full of guys' clothes, footwear and all the necessary things a guy needed while the other was filled up with girls' dresses, sarees, heels, shoes etc.

It was all ravishing, I guessed the guys' dresses were of Avyukt but what were a woman's things doing there? I even did not unpack my bag. Was there a girl in Avyukt's like already? Then why did he marry me? All these overthinking thoughts came to my mind.
Ignoring those thoughts I started to change my dress in the closet itself, as there was no one present in the room.
I removed all my heavy pieces of jewellery, but I was not able to untie my blouse's Dori, as Prerna tied it tightly before the marriage as my blouse was a bit loose.
I tried many times but it didn't open. After trying for at least 7-8 minutes. I felt a hand on my back. My body shivered at the touch. I felt goosebumps throughout my body and I immediately closed my eyes, out of embarrassment and shyness. Then I remembered that I forgot to close the closet gate, while busy admiring it.
After some seconds the sweet torture ended and my knot opened. I moved towards my back coming face to face with my husband, who had a straight face as usual.
" Thank you" I acknowledged him shyly.
He looked at me for some time silently and left from there towards his side of the closet and took out pants and a t-shirt, without any reply.
" How rude," I said to myself with an annoyed expression.
I was searching for my clothes when he suddenly came back from the room where he left, I guessed it was the washroom. So without any delay, I went there to change.

I came with my T-shirt and shorts.
When I came outside, after finishing my skincare routine. I saw him working on his laptop, with his working glasses on. He looked delicious and sexy with those glasses on his deep brown eyes and his intense expressions.
He cleared his throat, which got me back from my dreamland.
" Will you be fine sleeping on the right side, because I prefer the left?" he asked.
I nodded my head, that's all we talked about.
I went towards my side and Lied under the duvet thinking about my new life and husband, who didn't even care to talk to me on our first wedding night and was working on his laptop like, he married it not me. Thinking about all these things, I didn't realise when sleep took over me.

The next morning I woke up to an empty bed beside me. I sighed and went to the washroom to do my business. Then I dressed myself as my mom asked me to do on my first day of marriage, With saree and jewellery.

I left my hair open by only using a hair pin. I looked my myself once more in the mirror.
Then I left towards downstairs to greet the elders, but when I reached there, the scene in front of me shocked me.
