Third Person POV:
The next morning, Mike woke up with a horrible headache. He blinked his drowsy eyes and yawned, sitting up.
What happened yesterday? He thinks. Half of the day is a blur.
He can't remember anything after he went shopping for a long time with Jane. She bought so many things.. and she also bought liquor? Mike frowns. Was that a dream?
But then he looked around and he gasped. His room was a mess, there were burnt out cigarettes everywhere and cups on the ground and his tables. His headache got worse, and Mike groaned as he squeezed his eyes shut.
No.. That wasn't a dream. He thinks to himself.
Then he realized he wasn't wearing any clothes.
Shit, shit shit shit. Mike thought, stumbling out of bed to his closet, grabbing the closest things and got into it. He went around the room, grabbing all the cups and stacking them up on his nightstand, before grabbing his broom and sweeping up the cigarettes.
"Did I have sex with Jane?" Mike whispers to himself once he is done with the cleaning.
If that was true, he felt a pang of annoyance Jane left while he was sleeping, and didn't even leave a note. He checked the time, cursing himself when he saw it was already almost nine.
His headache was so horrible. He came to the conclusion it was a hangover.
He checked his phone to see if he had any texts from anyone, and sighed when he saw almost a hundred from Will. Most of them were asking if he was okay and to call him when he sees it.
Ding.
Mike's eyebrows raise when he got a text from Jane, and he looked to see what it was.
Jane
I had so much fun last night, wanna do more on Friday? For some reason, the thought of having more sex with Jane didn't sit well with Mike. Which was weird, Jane was his girlfriend. He had to like it.
He ended up texting Will, telling him he had a bad headache.
Then he got another text from Jane.
Jane
Babe?
I know you read this. Answer plz.
Babe?Mike almost rolled his eyes, surprising himself.
You
What happened last night? I barely rememberJane
Really?
That's fine, we just had sex and then you fell asleep. You
You had sex with me when you knew I was really drunk?Jane
It's fine, Mikey, I was drunk too.
And its just alcoholYou
If you remember it you probably weren't as drunk.
That's not cool, Jane.
That's borderline assaultJane
Really Babe?
I said it was fine
You don't need to be a bitch about itMike frowns, glaring down at the phone. Jane was talking like he was the person in the wrong, that she didn't drag him around all day yesterday before making him drunk.
You
I'm not being a bitchJane
God, babe, you're so sensitive sometimes.Mike turned off his phone, ignoring the multiple dings that came from it. He combed out his hair and brushed his teeth, grabbing his bag to go to school.
"Mom, can you tell the school I was at a doctors appointment?" Mike says to her.
Karen blinks. "What?" She questions. Mike gives her a glare. "Oh- Um, yes of course, dear."
Mike leaves the house and goes to school, thankfully when it's passing time. He puts his things in his bag and begins going to his class.
"Mikey!" A yell came from behind him.
Jane latched onto Mike's arm, with the whole party behind her.
"I was so worried about you, Mikey-" Jane starts, but was interrupted when Mike pushed her off him, making her stumble back. The party stares at him in shock. "Wha- C'mon babe, you're seriously not still made about that, right?"
Mike rolls his eyes. "I have every right to be mad about it, Jane," He says, glaring at her as he starts walking off, with the party following him. They entered a hallway with no classrooms, so it was empty.
"I said I was sorry, alright?" Jane says. "Besides, it was yesterday."
Mike sighs in annoyance, rubbing the bridge of his nose as the headache gets more painful.
"Dude, what's going on?" Lucas questions, frowning at the two teenagers. "Why are you being so rude to Jane?"
"Mike's just being dramatic," Jane says, crossing her arms and huffing.
The ravenette glares at her. "What the hell are you talking about?" Mike says. "I'm not the one who was being manipulative."
Jane gasps. "How could you even say that!?" She exclaims.
"Yeah, man, calm down," Dustin says. "I'm sure she didn't mean whatever she said, so maybe cool down, yeah?"
Mike scoffs. "Yeah, cool down," He mutters. "Hey Jane, why don't you tell them what happened yesterday?"
"You literally said you were fine with it!" Jane exclaims. "That's not my fault!"
"I don't even remember it at all, how does that not already sound twisted?" Mike says, making the party freeze in shock again.
Will looked between his sister and his best friend. "What don't you remember?" He asks, sounding afraid of the answer.
"You can't put all the blame on me," Jane says. "I was drunk too."
"Well apparently not as drunk as me," Mike says. "Even though I don't even remember drinking. I think I can blame you, since you know, you practically assaulted me." The tension in the area skyrocketed, and the whole party stared at Jane.
"What is he talking about Jane?" Will's voice went deadly calm, with a hidden sharp edge to it.
Jane gulped in nervousness at the attention. "You were fine with it all evening," Jane says, trying to save an already doomed argument.
"Are you serious?!" Max explodes first. "Jane, I- What the hell!?"
"He said it was fine!" Jane yells back.
Mike squeezes his eyes shut against a headache again. Will moves over and pulls him into a side hug. He glares at his sister.
"Touch him again and I'll murder you," Will says, still the deadly calm. Jane went pale in fear.
"You guys are breaking up," Max says. "That's final. Jane, I just can't believe you. I thought you.." She gives the girl a hurt look. "I thought you were a good person."
Lucas and Dustin move over to Mike. "Hey, are you alright?" Will asks.
"Mhm," Mike mumbles. "Just a headache."
"I have some Midol, do you have your water bottle?" Dustin says, grabbing out some pills from his bag. Mike nods and pulls his water bottle out, taking the pills easily before drinking a bunch of the water afterward.
Will gives one more glare at his sister before turning to Mike again. "Do you want to just go home and rest?" He asks.
"No, I have to go to school," Mike says. "I already skipped yesterday."
"Okay, but.. just be careful, alright?" Will says. Mike smiles at him, but Will could see right through him. Mike wasn't alright in the slightest.
