I was completely stunned by the image that was in front of me. It was hard to believe that Gina, the friend I made up to half a year ago, and whom I had helped a while ago, lived in such a place.

What was in front of us was no ordinary house. No, it wasn't even a house.

"You live in a mansion!" I shouted as I glared at the large mansion in front of us.

This one was surrounded by large fences made of pure steel bars painted black, and with a long bush lining the inside of the place, thus making seeing through difficult, if not impossible. The main entrance was the only minimally visible part of the whole place, making only the large structure in front of us stand out.

"Y-You never told us you were from a wealthy family!" Eri said with a great look of innocence and confusion on her face. She was probably having a hard time processing what she was seeing, which I can't blame her for, as I was trying to process it too.

"W-Well, you never asked, so..."

I walked over to Gina, grabbed her shoulder, and said: "Gina."

"Huh?" She seemed to startle a little, and blushed.

"...I'm sorry, I'm just having a hard time processing it." I said, and crouched down in front of her looking at the floor.

"I-It's okay, it's not like it's a big deal either..."

Precisely your house is the big deal?

I thought as I tried to understand how this was possible, then I started to correlate it with the person who brought us here, and it all started to make a little more sense.

The driver, who had gotten out of the van we had come in, approached us, and introduced himself:

"I see there is quite a commotion thanks to Miss Gina. I apologize in advance for not introducing myself. My name is Nakamura Koji, and I have been working for this family for over 30 years now." He said as he bowed, and motioned us to come inside.

"Go ahead, make yourselves at home." Gina said, as she looked nervous.

"Kawacchi, so that man is the family's driver?"

"Well, he's also what you might call the family butler. At least, that's what he is now."

"Now?"

"At first my parents hired him as a driver, but with training and time he became the family butler along with other four people. Although those now serve my parents, and I was assigned Nakamura-san as my personal butler."

"E-Eh..."

"So, you had this kind of life all this time... It must be great..." Eri was saying as we entered the main hall of the place, where we took off our shoes, and where we would be greeted by an interesting view.

The place was about 10 meters long and wide, so there was room for several things. The only thing we could appreciate in that place was a very well refined dark wood piano, a red carpet with some very strange abstract figures, and some pictures of the family.

It was the first time I could see Gina as a child, which I found adorable. Although, the moment I noticed it, Eri jumped up to see the painting and shouted: "How cuteeeee!"

After a few seconds where she looked like she was in love with the girl version of Gina, she regained her composure, and apologized.

"S-sorry, I guess I went too far."
