The middle ground

Being a woman
Expected to be a good cook and at household chores
But men should also be taught
The basics of cooking and cleaning around the house

To survive
So both, men and women
Won't be a liability to anyone
Not even ourselves

There are gender stereotypes
Sure
Some might want to be under it
Some might not

But it's better to be independent and know stuff
Not be a pain to others
Just because you haven't learnt certain things
(Exceptions, of course)

This is for myself and others
If they want to hear,
let them hear

Patriarchy in the background
As well as feminism
Is there a middle ground?

Men and women are equal
Their roles are different
But does this mean women are inferior?
Or are men superior?
No, I don't think so.

Women don't feel safe
We should learn to defend and fight for ourselves
It will be the same for men
Learn to fight and defend yourselves
If your lives are in danger

Men and women are equal
This is what I think/believe
Men are not superior to women
Neither are women superior to men

Do not twist feminism into something else
It is about fight against male superiority
It is about equality
Not for any selfish gain
Nor support for any supremacy
