Chapter 13

~Wei Ying~

He tried to open his heavy eyes, moving his fingers slightly. The environment was noisy, it felt like someone was talking.

Wei Ying opened his eyes, looking around, his mother , Lan Zhan, his father, his sister and his brother were looking at him worriedly, waiting for him to talk.

Wei Ying felt weak all over, he remembered the doctor was talking, saying something like he was pregnant.

As his mind became clearer, Wei Ying touched his abdomen, it was a little curved.

There is a life here?! What will they think?! Maybe they will call me a monster! How could a boy get pregnant! Will Lan Zhan not going to live with me! Before he accepted my illness but now no one will accept him? What if the doctors report me? Will I be examined and tortured everyday?!

Wei Ying was in daze, thinking wildly, his eyes turned to his mother becoming teary in a second.

"Wei Ying?" She got closer, looked worried not knowing why he was sobbing so pitifully.

Wei Ying hugged her mother, hiding his face
" Mom! Do you think I am a monster?! Will I be abandoned?!!"

"NO! Who said my son is a monster! What is the problem with a boy getting pregnant?! Mom will help you, she will take care of you! No one is going to abandon you or think you are a monster!"

His mother parted from him, wiping his tears, she could not bear the sadness in his son's eyes.

"Wei Ying?" Lan Zhan called him softly.

Wei Ying did not look directly at his eyes, afraid of seeing the disgust in those golden eyes.

He clenched his sheets" I-If you feel...you can't accept me or... the baby, I understand....I don't blame you...you don't need to take respon-"

Lan Zhan cut his words, grabbing his hand, removing it from sheets, he was anxiously trying to explain. He couldn't let his Wei Ying misunderstand him.

"No! Wei Ying is not monster! I love you! I love everything about you! Even I love the child because of you! I will listen to you! If you don't want the child we can get rid of it! If you want it, I will take care of you and the baby!"

Wei Ying hesitantly looked at him, seeing usual gentleness and love in Lan Zhan's eyes he got back his courage, suddenly remembering his words Wei Ying turned angry

"How could you say we get rid of him, he is our baby!" In a second, Wei Ying was so moody that everyone was stunned, they looked at Lan Zhan pitifully.

Lan Zhan hurriedly hugged him, coaxing him
"How can I not want him?! I love him! He is part of Wei Ying, If Wei Ying wants it I will definitely take care of him, love him"

"Do you love him more than me?!" Wei Ying pouted at him, he could not himself being emotional, he became irritated easily.

"I love Wei Ying more! He can't even compare!"
Wei Ying calmed down immediately. He pushed Lan Zhan a little "I am hungry"

Jiang Yanli immediately brought the food she had asked their chief to prepare for Wei Ying.

"Wei Ying, here" everyone hurriedly passed the food to him, Lan Zhan feeding from one side while mother Jiang taking care of him on the other side.

The warm food brought him a sense of relief as he sighed comfortably, his hand resting on his abdomen.

Everyone noticed his reaction, Lan Zhan wanted to touch it but he did not dare, afraid of accidentally hurting Wei Ying and the baby.

Wei Ying noticed his gaze and grabbed his hand

"Touch it"

Lan Zhan put his hand on his bulgy abdomen lighly, he was as gentle as possible afraid of putting pressure on it or pressing it.

Feeling the softness under his hand, he could imagine the screen of their baby he saw today, the baby seemed so fragile.

His lips turned upwards and a genuine smile appeared on his face. He was going to be a father and it was his and Wei Ying's child, his heart was filled with joy and responsibility, even the responsibility was so sweet that he was honored to take care of them in his palm all his life.

"Thank you" he turned to Wei Ying who was looking at his reaction" Thank you for not leaving me alone, Thank you for being by my side and thank you for the baby"

He confessed from bottom of his heart, he was grateful for meeting Wei Ying, for having such a lovely existence fall in love with him. He had used all his life's luck on having him.
Wei Ying smiled back beautifully at him

Wei Ying was discharged from hospital, moving back with his parents to their home. After sending Wei Ying and taking care of him until he reached the house did Lan Zhan rest assured and got back to his parents, it was necessary to talk.
