(Since everyone was present in the last chapter and they didn't split up, this chapter is also gonna be different. This chapter is also not my favorite but what can I do? This chapter is important ¯\_(ツ)_/¯)
"We haven't found anything yet!" were the many things Mei said during the trip to save the world. It's been almost a week and still no sign of the first ring yet. Back in the desert they went, but this time it was more manageable for Macaque since the air conditioning had been updated a while back. He still took off his scarf and replaced his pants with shorts. Surprisingly, his upper body was doing fine if you subtract the scarf.
Wukong, instead of meditating for once, has decided to help the team once he feels most of his energy return. He's still not fully himself, having a bit of his powers get taken away by the Lady Bone Demon. "It's because DBK's place is pretty hard to find in these neck of the woods,"
Everyone (except Sandy because he was driving) turned to face the great sage while his eyes were focused on the map. Mei immediately pressed herself against his side to take a look at the Map as well, "Wait. RedBoy's place?? Where??"
"Rrriiiggghhhttt here!" Wukong dragged out, pointing at the location of where the Bull King's palace could be, "See the horns? He's gotta have it, last that I remember,"
"The last you remember?" Pigsy and Macaque shared a look before Pigsy continued to interrogate him, "What do you mean by that?"
"Uuuhhhh....well you see...I was there when the rings were split to three-"
Mei drew in a sharp breath as she pressed her face against his "You were?? Why didn't you say anything??"
Wukong chuckled awkwardly and gently pushed Mei away, "Just didn't seem that important...I know about the rings but I don't know where each of them were taken to. Just didn't seem like an important detail,"
"I mean...it's better to let out all the secrets of this rescue mission out...right?" Macaque shot a half glare to the monkey, causing him to laugh, "For sure! Right! Don't worry! This trip will be a breeze!"
"Do you think the Demon Bull King would let us borrow the ring?" Tang asks in concern and rightfully so. There is no doubt that the Bull King wouldn't be too fond of the idea.
"Hah! Nope! But all the better to try to convince him what is at stake, right?"
Macaque sighed and pinched the bridge of his nose in annoyance, "Well, we better come up with a pretty good speech, because it just sounds like he wouldn't give it up for no reason,"
"Oh and we better come up with it soon cause we are almost there,"
...
"What??"
"Or you are already here right now" A voice was heard behind them. Everyone except for Wukong and Macaque who just jumped in shock, screamed causing Sandy to scream as well, swerving the car. Pressing on the brakes, the van came to a complete stop and almost tilted to its side, fortunately everyone leaned onto the opposite side, causing the car to get back on its four wheels.
After that whole fiasco, everyone took deep breaths to let the sudden adrenaline die down before Redson cleared his throat and turned to the group, "Now...I believe I heard you need a meeting with my father?"

Everyone is now sitting at a large dining room table, either staring at their food awkwardly or devouring everything on their plate (Tang and Mei-) as they wait for the Demon Bull King to arrive. Redson glared at the group with his arms crossed, yet he is ready for whatever they try to pull off. He may have been getting closer to the group as of late, but he still wouldn't call them being buddies.
