I should of made him leave, I should of kicked him out, but I allowed him to hold me for hours and reminisce on old memories. I get euphoria from his voice and touch, from him alone and I hate it. I hate the high he gives me. I wish it went away along with him but hell he didn't really go away.

I clamp my lips together as he stands on the other side of the room, looking at me. Stuffing the few things I brought back with me to London into my carry on bag, I keep my eyes down and never look up at Zayn. I know he's waiting for me to look up and melt into his arms but I can't, I won't. I take a deep breath in and hold it there.

"Liam will be coming over soon. I think you should be leaving." I whisper breathlessly.

"Yea." He nods.

He walks over to me and rests his hands on my waist. I flinch against his cold fingers and turn in his hands. Zayn smiles down at me and it's completely different from his usually smirk but I welcome it. Hold on for a little while longer. His words replay in my mind again and my smile mimics his. He places the sweetest kiss on my lips before leaving out the room.

I lay back on the bed and squeeze my eyes shut. Standing up, I hide away any reminder that Zayn was here and place the box back in the closet. I walk downstairs and remember the days I use to walk Zayn to his car — no, I have to keep him from my mind. I date Liam now. I smile when Liam's car pulls up in the drive way. He envelopes me in a giant hug and kisses my head. I smile up at him and he returns it gratefully.

"How about we go hang by the pool for a while and grab dinner afterwards before the show." Liam says, squeezing my face together.

"Can you even swim?" I slap his hands away.

His face falls.

"Are you serious? We own a pool."

"Several people own a pool so their house looks nicer."

"I surf, Eva."

"I'm kidding. I know you can swim, babe. Ooo, we should take a trip to Sydney and you teach me how to surf."

"You can speak multiple languages and don't know how to surf?"

"You can surf but not speak more languages then English?"

"I can speak Spanish."

"Yea, four words."

He frowns and I kiss his lips slightly before pulling him into the house and upstairs. I pull at my shirt before letting it go again and placing my hands on my hips, I give Liam a tired expression. He smirks down at me and then helps me undress, slowly trailing his fingers along my skin as he does so. He unclasps my bra agonizingly slow and kisses my collarbone when the straps fall to my elbows.

We finally end our game of strip teasing and get dress for the pool. I hide my brown eyes behind a pair of Armani shades and place my feet in the cool water. Liam dives into the water and when he comes back up his hair sticks to his forehead. He swims over to me and positions himself between my knees. I lace my hands through his hair and smile happily down at him.
