Chapter 16 // God mother

Someone's cranky... You should go get checked. Her words replay in mind, as I rush to aisle three and grab several pregnancy tests of multiple kinds. I quickly checked out, rushing back to the Nandos parking lot where my car resided. As I pass the entrance to Nandos someone walks out, almost bumping into me, Niall. His features are laced in confusion as he opens his mouth to speak, I shake my head and give him the I'll explain later look. My face seems to be stained with tears by the time I sit down in my car and buckle my seat belt.

When I arrive home I rush pass everyone, going straight to the bathroom. I take each one and sit on the counter with my legs dangling, waiting for them to tell me. After five minutes of waiting I jump down from the counter looking at them, each one reading Positive. I start to hyperventilate, I feel completely hysterical. I don't know if because I'm happy, or afraid because I've always wanted a child but...

Actually I've never seen any reason why not, why a child would be a bad thing. My breathing slows when I come to the fact that I've always wanted a child and this is a good thing but who would I tell first, how would I break it to them? I run my hands over my hair, and toss it to one side, I collect all the pregnancy tests and start to walk into to the living room when I get a text.

Bestie Mac:

*Omg Eva guess what guess what?!*

I just knew if she was actually saying this instead of typing she'd be screaming my ears off and anybody in a 30 mile radius from us.

Me:

*Mac I don't have time to play the guessing games I've got a lot on my plate at this moment in time.*

Bestie Mac:

*Uh-huh explain. But since you wanna ruin the fun, I'll just tell you I'm pregnant Niall and I are gonna have a baby!* She automatically replys back.

When I start to text back someone knocks on the door. I bite my lip, staring at the door before hiding the tests in my carry-on bag.

"Babe, are you gonna come with me to the hospital... I know you don't wanna but please." Liam voice rings through the door. I unlock it and give him a weird look before rolling my eyes and nodding.

When we arrive at the hospital my whole vibe just dies, and when we walk into the hospital room I know why. Savannah holds a beautiful baby boy with Zayn hovered over her. He got his looks from his dad I think quietly laughing to myself. Mackenzie and Niall are the last ones to join us in the room. Mac stands beside me and Niall next to her, their hands entwined.

"Congrats." Mac says to Zayn, giving Savannah a disgusted look and pulling me out the room.

"What's wrong?" She asks when we are all the way down the hall.

Mackenzie aka Mac's POV

"Congrats." I say to Zayn, giving Savannah a disgusted look and pulling Eva out the room.

"What's wrong?" I ask when we are all the way down the hall. She explains and I can't help but looked shocked and pleased at the same time, we're both prego.

I give her a look of disapproval when she says she hasn't told Liam yet, but at least she said she will. She listens to me brag about Niall and I, through the whole conversation her face is lit up. We walk back to the room and watch as everyone holds the baby, after I hold him I hand him back to Zayn and he looks at Eva. She shakes her head but he places Zeke in her arms anyway. She has a look of shock on her face until she down and smiles at the baby.

"I want you to be the god mother." Zayn says and Savannah makes a sound of disapproval, and Zayn shoots her look, making her shut up.

Eva only smiles, looking into his eyes, the same hazel eyes my best friend fell in love with the first time. Liam grabs her waist out of jealousy and Zayn's face falls but Eva's smile grows. We all leave, leaving Zayn and Savannah alone in the hospital with the Zeke.

When we arrive at Eva and Liam's house, we sit in their living room eating popcorn in silence and watching Christmas movies. Eva seems to be in an awkward state as her hands shake nonstop, and she stares into the distance. She grips the hem of her shirt, twirling it around her fingers and confusion fixed with fear written on her face from her own thoughts.

"Niall told me you guys had feelings for each other and-"

"Niall said what?!" She cuts me off and her voice raises from shock.

"Yeah, Niall said what?" Liam asks.

We both stand and start to walk into her room, I look back at Niall who has an awkward look on his face as he stands and walks away from the chaos bound to start. I laugh to myself while feeling bad for him. I explain everything to Eva, she seems relieved that she doesn't have to lie to me anymore but her face doesn't change, confusion and fear still covers it. I give her a you have to tell him look and she shakes her head no really hard, giving her a headache. She pulls out her phone to text him and I take it from her, we both know that's not the right way.

Eva's POV

We both stand and start to walk into her room, she looks back at Niall who has an awkward look on his face as he stands and walks away from the chaos bound to start. She laughs to herself while feeling bad for him, I tell can by the look on her face. She explains everything to me, I seem relieved that I don't have to lie to her anymore but my face doesn't change, confusion and fear still covers it.

She gives me a you have to tell him look and I shake my head no really hard, giving myself a headache. I pull out my phone to text him and she takes it from me, we both know that's not the right way. I sigh, rubbing my temples trying to come up with a idea. I tell Mackenzie my plan and she smiles in agreement. I soon decide against it, walking out the room going to Liam. He stares up at me with an emotion I'd rather not see.

"I'm pregnant" I say and his expression goes unreadable.

So like another cliffhanger I'm on flipping fire! Lol let me stop because I strongly dislike cocky people, like chill your not one direction so you ain't all that. But back to the book how do you like it?

Ima gonna make a sequel to this called good boys and mended hearts , and other books if I list them all (which I am beacuse I want you to know them all.) it'll take forever well not really but it's quite a few books like I come up with a book idea almost everyday.
