After searching several areas, Reo and Mikasa found Annie, Reiner and Bertholdt. Reo went to Annie and asked "sorry to bring in my personal feelings but have you seen Eren's team?"
"I didn't, but the teams that had to go up the walls..."
Reiner spoke "now that I think about it, Armin is there, he was in the same team as Eren"
she didn't repeat it twice and immediately ran to him, he was crouched and sounded like he was crying "armin!"
no Reo...how can I look her in the face after what I've done?
She knelt down and took his hands "armin are you okay? Where's Eren?" he who for all that moment had kept his head down raised it, strong tears were streaming down his face "we...the team...the 34 team...Thomas Wagner, Nack Diaz, Millius Zermuski, Mina Caroline, Eren Jaeger...these five recruits are fallen bravely in battle..."
everyone who heard was shocked
"I'm sorry Reo, Eren instead of me...I couldn't do anything...I'm sorry"
Reo's eyes were wide, her pupils trembling. She was silent for a couple of seconds then slowly stood up. Without looking anyone in the face she went to the edge of the roof on which everyone was lying "Marco. If we manage to eliminate the titans who have gathered in the headquarters, we could refuel and thus climb the wall, right?"
"yes you are right. However, even if you join us...the titans  will still be too many"
"we can do it"Reo stood on the edge of the roof and raised the blade "I am strong...much stronger than all of you! I don't care if it's just one...but I'm sure I'll be able to kick his ass! The rest of you...you're a bunch of incompetent cowards and no balls...you've really been a big disappointment. But just sit around here with folded arms, if that's what you want."
Mikasa and the others stepped forward and said "Reo? What are you doing? Do you want to face them alone?!"
"If I lose I will die. If you don't fight, you can never win!" Reo set off quickly to fight against those monsters, she was going fast and she wasn't decidedly lucid, Armin and Mikasa had noticed this, they looked at each other and said "she's going too fast, at this rate she'll run out of gas"
as unsaid Reo fell into an alley between two houses. Armin and Mikasa simultaneously yelled "reo!" She fell onto an awning, below which was fruit or food for sale. Reo lay watching the sky as a titan ran towards her. Suddenly it occurred to her when at the orphanage Eren made her laugh
what a beautiful memory... my life was horrible... I've done nothing but suffer... yet when I finally found something beautiful, fate took it away from me ...am I doomed to suffer forever? Eren...you're the most precious thing I've ever had...my brother is missing, now you're gone too...I don't want to live without you...I can't...oh...a titan...if he eats me...maybe in the in the afterlife I will be able to meet you again Eren...yes...I hope so...
The titan reached out his hand and took it bringing it close to his mouth
so now he will eat me...
she was waiting when suddenly she fell to the ground

she heard a roar, there it was another titan in front of her who was tearing apart the one who was about to eat her first
but how is that possible? must be an abnormal... did he save me?...
at one point that titan, after having killed the other, took her in his hand and looked at her. Reo was motionless, she couldn't understand what was happening then she felt something on her head, it was the other hand of the abnormal titan
... is he looking at me?
Armin saw her from afar and immediately flew towards her "Reo!" he took her and carried her to a rooftop followed by Mikasa and Connie. Armin looked at her obsessively "you fell because you ran out of gas, are you hurt?!"
"n-no..."
connie spoke "let's get going for now...Oh no! two more 15-metre titans!"
"no...that titan is different..."
The four watched the scene, that 15-metre tall titan killing other titans...humanity had never seen such a thing. Armin was incredulous "did he finish him off? Did he know what his weakness was? ...he didn't react to our presence, when instead he could have attacked us..."
Mikasa nodded and added "I thought he had some skills in hand-to-hand combat...what the hell titan..."
Connie was very scared "the only thing what makes me think is that it is a titan with a bizarre behavior. There are still too many mysterious things that we can't figure out...anyway we have to hurry up and go to headquarters! Everyone is fighting!"
"wait Reo has no more gas!"
Connie whirled around "hey...what? are you serious? But without you it will be a problem!" Armin bent down to the ground and started to take the gas he had left "then there's only one thing to do! Even if there isn't much left... get mine soon!"
"armin!"
"there are no other ways and then it makes no sense that I have it! This time though...use it properly, this way you can save everyone"
it's true...I said horrible things before and I drove them without even taking responsibility...
Armin had finished fixing Reo's equipment, also adding the blades , the only thing he had left was a small rough blade "well! I added blades too! But I'd like to keep this one... I really don't want to die devoured by one of those..."
Reo sighed and grabbed the blade Armin was holding and threw it off the roof, he was incredulous "huh? ...Why?"
Reo took his hands and squeezed them looking intensely into his ocean blue eyes "armin...how can you think I'll leave you here?"
"but you won't be able to carry me on your shoulders!"
Connie took him by the arm starting to run "I'll bring armin, reo and mikasa you cover us!" The four ran, they had no certainty and the chances of success were really low but it was the only way or better, they thought it was until Armin spoke "wait... wait! I had an idea!"
"an idea?"
"yes...I know it may seem crazy...we need two or three people, you have to decide whether to do it or not...it might seem absurd to you but..." Armin's plan was based on killing all the titans that were around the anomalous one and leading it up at headquarters.
the mission was a success as the four of them arrived just in time at the headquarters where Jean and others were also there. Jean who thought they were dead, was happy to see them again, however after they explained to him what their strategy was, he remained quite uncertain and incredulous. Reo was determined to exploit that titan,he had saved her and there was definitely something strange about him, moreover he reminded her of something but she could not put the point on what and this thought annoyed her. She didn't blame Jean, actually it was really crazy and absurd but it was worth trying.
