CHAPTER 3;
TEMPEST

•------------------------•

sighing she rested her head on Samantha's Shoulder. Waiting for the play to start, but her eyes started to slowly drift off.

Only seeing a glimpse of white light, a gown and-

"Ms. Macher, you're up!" The nurse smiled, as Lynney struggled against her restraints.
"Oh, hey now, we don't want to have to sedate you more." She smiled, "Food?" Lynn would glare daggers at her, "Let me out." She demanded. "No can do, it's for the best." The nurse began to tap her foot hastily, "Let me out! Please! I have a life you can't- You can't do this! No!" She screamed, struggling against her restraints more. A few others came in hearing the commotion, "Se-" Before the girl can finish her sentence, Lynn's Nurse nodded. Not soon after, another nurse came forward, and would hold Lynn's hand still whilst the other got the needle ready and would prick it in her vein, releasing the sedation. Her struggles began to slowly calm, and came to a stop, soon passing out.

--

Samantha shook Lynn, "Lynn! Are you alright?" She asked, noticing her a little shaken up. "Just a dream. its fine." She smiled, lifting her head up tiredly as she stared up at the stage. The play started, and she saw Rachel head up stage, she grinned. But once she saw Chloe, it dropped. Chloe completely ditched her today, to hang with Rachel. No, that's alright, It doesn't matter. Samantha would giggle, looking at Lynn who was cringing at the lines they made up. Soon Chloe left the stage, and Rachel called for thy Nathan. Nathan walked up, his eyes instantly meeting Lynns. She turned her head away, blushing in embarrassment. Tho, his lines were quick and simple; considering Rachel made him look stupid.

The play ended, and Samantha pleaded for them to stay and wait for Nathan.
 "Can we not? I really want to go, Sam." She sighed, "You can go by yourself then, please, Lynn." Not soon after, once Sam got a glimpse of Nathan exiting the area; She stood up, clapping. Lynney would do the same. Nathan would look relieved, and smile, walking towards the two. He was grinning, "Nathan..." She whispered under her breath, He headed directly for them still, Lynn would walk to the side when she noticed he was walking towards Samantha. Sam began to converse in conversation with the rich, kid. Her eyes dulled, and she walked off, knowing Samantha tends to take her time.

--

She laid on her bed, rolling over towards her phone, now laying on her side. She then grabbed her phone and called Chloe, to which she never got a call back, even though she called her about 15 times. She moved onto Rache; and she still got no response.

Lynn frowned, checking Chloe's location; to see she was at Rachel's house. "Of fucking course," she muttered. But then, Rachel's words popped in her head, 'You wanna do something fun? Let's go do something we know we shouldn't,' She could still hear Rachels laugh. So quickly, she exited the dormitories, rushing over to the boys' dormitories. as she ran, sneaking past the principle; she finally made it. Lynn then pick-locked the door, and headed upstairs where she then made her way to Nathans room. She went to knock but paused. Closing her eyes, 'You can do it,' Recalling Rachel's voice, a smile flashed on her face as she knocked.

"whatthefuck" he said, opening the door. "Nate, I know i haven't been good to you, but-"
"Nathan who is it?" Samantha got up, seeing Lynn. "Oh! Lynn, we were just reading." She smiled politely, but Lynneys blood began to boil. "Next time." He shut the door after waving, dismissing Lynn.

"it was a mistake you know," A voice said,
 "He's the reason you're like this, Lynn. He didn't provide you the comfort you deserved. Not that it matters, you should've stopped me from going in front of the traffic." The female spoke bluntly, but when Lynn turned to see where it was coming from, she realized it was coming from her head. She took a deep breath and rushed out, hoping not to be caught.
