I quickly clicked the green button when I noticed him calling me. There was silence on the other side and for a moment I felt like our sides were reversed. Like I was the one confirming he isn't dead. Talking about death...

"I can't believe you immediately thought I was dead?!"

"Y/N! I am actually hearing your voice now?" Levi said with a dreamy sigh.

"Why...why wouldn't you...?" I asked unsure. This whole situation kept getting funnier and more confusing.

"Well I am the part of the navy so I know water can be pretty dangerous for humans. Especially in big quantity..." He began explain and I could hear the pout in his voice.

"Mhm, yeah. However the owner of the place I am staying at is super smart. He build it in a specific arrangement where water won't flood us too much!" I told him.

"Oh, that's good. Yeah...that's good." Levi sighed as if he has been holding his breath this entire time. "I am...sorry..."

"Sorry? The flood isn't your fault, dude."

"But what if it is? What if I got super mad at a dumbass reason and I don't know...summoned an ancient creature that somehow flooded only your area?" Levi sounded guilty. I giggled.

"Levi..."

"I am serious."

His reaction was...odd to say the least. But if that is how we were going to talk then I will humour him. "Then if it was...I guess I would forgive you. Don't know about the others, though. But we are totally ride or die besties right?!" I cringed at my words but if he saw me as a friend only then I won't push him further.

"...Besties...Yeah..." He didn't sound happy. In fact he sounded disappointed. And I had no idea why. Couldn't have been about the term I used to describe our relationship, right? It's what he wants...right?

"Oh, by the way! I totally forgot to ask you!" I laughed. "But what is my nickname in your contacts?! I have been so curious as of lately!" I heard him gasp loudly.

"O-oh! Uh...it's your name with a flower emoji! The pink one..." He stuttered while telling me. It was obvious he was flustered about it and I smiled.

"Yours is Leviachan with a purple heart!" I gave my own share of information.

"WHAT?! I-HUH?! OH..." I giggled loudly at his reaction while he told me numerous times to stop laughing at him.

no chapter yesterday cuz i was busy grammar editing a book i wrote in 2020 and posting it. honestly i am embarrassed i ever thought about writing a book about that specific character but every author needs an L in their biography! ☺️

i was madly giggling during this call. idk something about his tone...😍
