Burgundy flipped over all the kebabs. The scent wafted through her nostrils, and she wished she could pick one up, there, and then, and eat it.

She knew her Mum would flip out, though.

"Burgundy!" Lahar said. "Put a few more over the stove; what you've got there won't feed half the customers we'll get!"

"'k Mum."

"Good girl." Lahar went back to serving customers, and sorting out her famous, secret-recipe cinnamon camel milk. All the customers couldn't get enough of it. "Come right up to Lahar's Delights and get yourself into a Cinnamon paradise today! Ask at the desk for more great deals!" Lahar was yelling. Burgundy sighed and turned back to her camel shish kebabs. "Psst!" A small voice came from the shadows, and Burgundy looked up. "What-" talons closed over her snout, stopping her from talking. "Mkph, hermfglr!" she protested, but the mystery claws dug into her scales, breaking the skin, and making a thin trickle of blood appear. She stopped talking, terrified they might break her jaw. The last thing she knew was a loud knock, and a piercing pain to her head, before everything went black.

Burgundy woke up with her talons and legs tied up, with fabric scraps over each claw. "Hey!" she shouted. It was pitch black where she was, until a strange dragon lit a torch with a plume of flame. Even with the dim light, Burgundy could barely see this dragon's scales. But she spotted the unmistakeable MudWing snout, broad and blocky, attached to a thicker neck and strong arms. "Is this her?" Someone whispered. "I think so. We should ask just in case." Replied another dragon.

"I don't think we should be doing this." Commented the first dragon.

"What harm are we doing? We won't hurt her." The second dragon argued, before turning to her. "Look, I'm sorry if we did hurt you, but it is for a good cause." Burgundy glanced at the dragon who spoke. "Um-" Burgundy began, but she paused. "I think I'm okay?" Burgundy nodded. "Yeah, I'm okay." She confirmed. "I could be much better if you got these ropes off my talons, though!" she snapped, getting frustrated with the strange MudWings' silence. "Three moons, sor-ee." The second dragon snapped. The first dragon pushed past the first dragon and smiled through the dim light at Burgundy. "I'm sorry about my vile sister." He apologised, shooting an affectionate glance at the other MudWing. She snorted, clearly not happy. "I'm Reed, and that's Pheasant. You won't run away yet, will you?" Reed asked, glancing at Burgundy's ropes. "Not if you don't hurt me." Burgundy bargained, shooting Pheasant a wary look. "Good." Reed murmured, slashing her hand ropes free with one claw. Burgundy ripped apart the other ropes around her wings and hind legs. "There." She Mumbled, stretching her limbs.

"Don't get too comfortable, though." Pheasant twitched her tail in Burgundy's direction. Burgundy froze.

"We have... Just a few questions we need to ask."
