I have often referred to this lyric to my friends, thinking I understood what he meant. that I understood being in love, and why you shouldn't hold off if you think its love. then I realized, he didn't mean to fall for anyone, fall for the one. fall for the one who makes you feel wanted, the one who makes you feel happy, the one who loves the real you, the one who actually deserves your love. and I bet you're probably asking yourself, how am I going to know when it's the one, and the answer is, I don't know. I know what love shouldn't be. I can write you a list of what it shouldn't be, but I won't. I will say this though, don't be scared to love. because yeah, sometimes you're going to give love to the wrong people, but you can't live your whole life afraid to love. yes, your heart is going to get broken, yes, it's going to hurt, and yes, you're going to be angry. but it's going to be better if you love and learn. because eventually you're going to find that person that deserves your love, and it's going to take a while. so, love. love hard and show that you care, don't be scared, and don't think that you aren't going to find your person, because you will. but it's going to take time, so, in the meantime, love.
Authors Note: hi! so i uhh kinda went thru a unexpected break up, and i could be in my room crying because i broke up with them, i could be shit talking to all my friends, but instead, im writing and turning my anger into something positive. and before you ask, technically (its a whole story) they cheated on me, and acted like i shouldnt care, and they didnt gaf about me, so i broke up with them. anyways heres a reminder to live your life and love people.
