One Out of Two (A Nagito X Fem! Reader Fanfic)

Chapter 3

That night, we had chicken stir-fry for dinner. I was also able to finish the painting of Hiyoko. It looked like when she threw her hands up and smiled. I went ahead and hung it up, as well as took a picture and posted it on social media. I also posted the picture of Mahiru as well.

After that, I found myself thinking about Komaeda. Maybe I could ask him for his number sometime... or maybe I could even ask him if I could call him by his first name... I thought. I think I'll ask him tomorrow, but for now I think I'll play some Fortnite...

I went ahead and asked Chiaki if she wanted to play, and she immidiately replied with a yes. And so me and Chiaki played Fortnite until 12:00, and the rest of the time we FaceTimed each other.

"So Hina-chan..." Chiaki said.

"Yeah?" I wondered.

"I was wondering if you maybe... had a bit of a crush on Komaeda-chan." I immediately felt my cheeks warm up. So much so, I thought I was gonna blow my head off! "That's a... that's a strange question." I started to laugh awkwardly.

"Yeah, I think you do. You always freeze up near him, and you always blush when you're around him." she decided.

"Well, I suppose it might be a possibility..." I admitted.

"Knew it!" she declared happily. "So was it love at first sight?"

"I guess you can call it that... I mean, he's just so kind and passionate, and just really cute... even hot..!"

"Yep, you're definitely in love!" Chiaki said.

"But don't you dare tell anybody!" I said, worried.

"I'll try my best, but no promises." she said.

The rest of the night, I told her about my feelings for Komaeda, and my idea about calling him by his first name, as well as getting his number.

"Well, now that you're part of the group chat, you can text anyone from our class one on one." she stated.

"Oh my God, you are so smart!" and so I went ahead and made one for just me and Komaeda. I also decided to make one on one chats with me and the other people from our class.

"And about the first name thing, I think that you should just call him that without asking, that way you can make him embarrassed, while saving unneeded conversation." she said.

"Well, I see what you mean, but why would he be embarrassed?" I asked, confused.

"Don't worry about it. Do you have any other games that we can play together?" she asked, changing the subject.

"Oh, well I have Minecraft. Do you want to play that?" I said forgetting about the previous conversation.

"Sounds like I know what I'm doing for the next few hours!" she smiled happily. And so, just like yesterday, me and Chiaki played Minecraft until it was time to get ready for school.

And so the rest of the day went just like yesterday, minus the crazy morning and party. After school, I asked Komaeda if I could talk to him. "Of course, Nene-kun! I'd be happy to!" Komaeda agreed.

"Well, Nagito-kun, I wanted to tell you earlier, but I added you to my contacts!" I smiled.

As I looked at Nagito's face, I realized that he was blushing, as if I had just kissed him! I guess Chiaki was right about the first name thing... but why? "U-uh... Wh-what did you s-say..?"

"I said that I added you as a part of my contacts, right?" I said, trying to act innocent.

"N-nevermind. Sorry to leave you, but I have to get home..!" and so Nagito ran off. Though I was a little sad about it, I let Nagito go, I decided that it was probably best if I got going too. So, I started on my way home.
