I made sure to text Mom, telling her I would spend the night with Chiaki, since I didn't want her knowing I was spending the night with a boy. Most of the drive, me and Nagito talked about the fun we had. As well as what we were planning on doing when we got home. "So... what are we gonna do when get to your house?" I asked.
"Well... I suppose we should get a bed ready for me... and I can get you anything else you need..." he answered.
"Wait, back up. Bed for you?" I asked confusedly.
"Yeah. I was gonna let you have the bed, and I was gonna get some blankets so I could sleep on the floor!" he said calmly.
"Wha-?! No! You are not sleeping on the floor! I will!" I argued.
"No! How could I even..?!"
"It's not a big deal. Anyway, it's your house. You deserve the bed!"
"Well, if I'm getting the bed, what are you sleeping on?"
"The floor!!"
"No!"
I sighed. "Then where are you sleeping?!"
"On the bed, according to you!"
"With me on it?!!"
"No!!"
"Then where am I sleeping?!?"
"I don't know..!?"
I sighed again. "We can't keep arguing like this."
"I know... we need to find a solution to this... though I do admit... it was a little fun going back and forth on that." he admitted.
"Yeah. It was..!" I smiled. "But seriously, if neither of us are sleeping on the floor, then where will we each sleep?"
We both thought as Nagito drove in the dark, different cars driving past us. "What if I just slept on the couch? Assuming you have one." I suggested.
"Yeah, I have one, but... isn't that a bit far from each other? I mean, my room is on the second floor. Not that I'm saying I wanna be close to each other..! I-It's just th-that..! Well... I don't want you to be that far away from me... Sorry if I make you uncomfortable... I've been told that I... that I have attachment issues..." he said nervously.
"Don't worry. The feeling's mutual... So that's a no on the couch, I suppose..." I assured.
"Yeah..." he confirmed.
Nagito pulled into a small neighborhood. A lot of the house were big two or three story houses. "Wow, these houses look really nice... From what I can see, at least. Do you really live in one of these?"
"Yeah... the inside isn't all that great, though. It's honestly pretty bland, especially compared to your room." he said disappointingly.
"No, my room is just very vibrant." I assured.
"I suppose that's true." he agreed.
He pulled into a driveway of a two story house and parked. There was a brick outing to make it look a little less bland. Otherwise, the brown house seemed empty. There wasn't any decoration outside, not even a doormat.
"Here we are... Like I said, it's no place special, so don't expect it to look amazing." he reminded.
"Right..." I said, getting out of the car with my mini-purse and phone.
When we walked up to the front door, Nagito grabbed his keys and unlocked it. As we walked in, here is what met my eyes. A big living room, with a couch and chair, as well as a huge TV on a long cabinet. Inside the cabinet were lots of gaming consoles, like an Xbox, PS5, Nintendo 64, Wii, Wii U, and a Nintendo Switch. There was also a glass coffee table in the middle of the couch and chair. Looking straight, there was a hallway that led to a staircase. There was also three different rooms along the hallways' walls.
