The duo followed Ava around for the entire day but hadn't found anything suspicious about her so far. They watched her enter a cafe and waited in the car to see if she would meet up with someone but all they saw was her studying with her earphones in by the window.

"This is hopeless!" Jax said as he was getting impatient.

"Trust me, it's her! I just know it." Ky was adamant that Ava was up to no good.

"This is getting ridiculous, bro. We're not the FBI." Jax complains as he starts to go on his phone to reply to messages. His face turned serious as he shifted his focus elsewhere while Ky continued watching Ava closely.

Suddenly a car pulls up and Ky alerts Jax who is caught off guard. They both watch Ava look up from her books and quickly start to pack her things. She walks out of the cafe and gets into the car. Both the guys wait for the car to drive off but it parks there for a while as they can only make out the silhouette of the driver to be a man.

"What's going on? Why aren't they leaving?" Jax questioned curiously.

"I'm not sure, something doesn't feel right," Ky answered.

"I hate to admit it but I'm beginning to think you were right all along..." Jax replied with a concerned look in his eyes.

"We're lucky we took your car. Mine would have stuck out like a sore thumb." Ky sarcastically joked as Jax looked at him in annoyance.

Soon, the car takes off with Ava inside and Ky tells Jax to trail them but to also stay at a safe distance to avoid being caught. They soon arrive at an old and possibly abandoned apartment building after driving around for a while and Jax makes a disgusted face when he sees how worn out and poorly maintained the area was. Jax parked slightly further from them to avoid being spotted.

"Why would she come to a place like this? The building looks like it's about to collapse at any moment. Isn't she the heiress of the Parker hotel franchise?" Jax wondered as his facial expressions tensed up.

"Look!" Ky cuts off Jax's thoughts and points to the driver who was stepping out of the car.

They saw the man exit the vehicle but his face was covered by a mask and a cap. Ky quickly pulls his phone out and takes many pictures of them when they exit the car to enter the building.

Jax pulls out his phone to display the CCTV footage of the man kidnapping Mavis and they compare the photos to the video. The silhouette was a perfect match.

"Holy shit! You were right. It WAS Ava all along... I'm sending these to the police with the address now." Jax's face froze in horror.

"She must be inside that building." Ky thought to himself as he looked out the car window and prayed that she was safe considering the exterior look of the place.

"Please hold on. I'm coming," he says in his heart.

Inside, Mavis was still sitting in the room and tied to the chair. The food that Ezra had left her was on the floor and untouched.

"Come on, Mavis. You've got to eat or you'll die." Ezra pleads to her as he still has a soft spot for her.

"Give it up, Ez. She's not going to eat by herself, we're gonna have to force her or else we'll be murderers." Ava said cold-heartedly.

Ezra took a look at Mavis who looked so pale and out of energy as he hadn't eaten anything since yesterday afternoon. Her eyes were tired and she was breathing heavily. He goes up to her and picks up the bread packet from the floor, kneeling next to her as he puts it on her lap.

"I can't let you die. Will you eat?" he asks her softly.

Mavis refused to make eye contact with him and looked away angrily despite the fact that she was starving. She didn't want to eat anything in hopes that they would let her go for not having the intention to "kill" her.
