I already had a routine, miss meals, go to classes, and do homework. I had lost a lot of weight already in such a short time. My clothes barely fit me anymore. I magically altered them so no one would notice. Some of the bullying stopped after the incident in Potions class. No one wanted to mess with the chick that got burned for a long enough time that even Snape was worried and didn't even react to being burned.

I was on my way to the library when I was passing by Dumbledore's office. My mother suddenly appeared. How did she get here? She's a muggle. When she saw me she looked beyond pissed. This was about to get ugly.

She walked right up to me and gave me the hardest slap across the face. No one was in the hallway to see this. I could taste blood in my mouth. I looked at her with a dead expression which only pissed her off even more. She slapped me again making blood spray against the wall a little.

"How dare you!" she yelled at me. I just stared at her. "You insolent little girl!" she slapped me again for a third time. "When were you going to tell me?!" she asked slapping me again. Blood was pooling in my mouth now. I spit it out on the ground next to me and away from her.

"Tell you what?" I asked cooly.

"That you were moving out and leaving me!?" she said slapping me even harder than before. My vision blurred for a moment before my world stopped spinning.

"Never but things changed and I'm not," I said calmly.

She slapped me three more times so hard I hit the nearby wall because I was so dizzy.

I looked at her with dead eyes. "I almost felt that," I said sarcastically. I was still numb from everything.

"You dare speak back to me!?" she yelled.

"Not like that ever stopped you from hitting me whether I talked back or not."

She slapped me so hard I felt my head bounce off the brick wall. I thought I heard a cracking sound. My ears were ringing.

"If you're going to kill me better get it over with before someone sees," I said calmly after I could hear and see straight again.

It was during class time now so no one will be around for a while. I had a free period so it wouldn't matter to me.

"I should have killed you when I had the chance," she sneered.

"Yes, you should have. Then father would be alive and you would be happy again," I said calmly hoping she would just kill me right here and now.

Instead of her slapping me she punched me in the face which resulted in me hitting the floor with a thump. She climbed on top of me and was wailing on me until I was bloody and could barely see. After she felt satisfied she stood up.

"Nah. You'll suffer more alone and alive. You are no longer my daughter and you will no longer live in my house. As soon as the school year finishes gather your things and be out. You're seventeen now so I can legally do that," she said before she left spitting on me.

I lay there for a moment before slowly getting up. I ditched my original plan to go to the library and instead went to my dorm room. I still had classes but couldn't now. I could barely see let alone stand and walk straight without being dizzy. I most likely had a concussion and probably have a fractured orbital bone too.

My face was covered in blood. Blood ran down my face and seeped into my clothes. I hadn't realized I was leaving a blood trail back to the Gryffindor house. No one was around so no one would ask me questions.

I went to the connecting bathroom and started cleaning my face as best as I could. I didn't even wince when I touched my broken face. I felt free after my mother left me. I was no longer her slave. After I cleaned the blood off of me I changed out of my clothes and put on my sweats. I was getting tired. I couldn't sleep because of the concussion my mother gave me.
