(HTTYD) The Plan

Broken-down catapults were loaded onto the ships, as they also load multiple weapons. Toothless is chained down to a plate, muzzled, as he tries to get free. Two Vikings put a neck ring to restrain him, as he shake's them off. Gothi was on the walkway, holding a girl to comfort her, as she gently pulled a boy towards her. As she and a few other Vikings watch on the walkway. Toothless was then loaded into Stoick's ship, while Hiccup and Valerie watch on a cliff side perch, watching as Toothless helplessly try to break free. He was placed on to the boat, as Stoick give out orders.

"Set sail! We head for head for Helheim's Gate." He said, before noticing the twins, but guickly look's away, as the ships sail off, as he walks toward Toothless. "Lead us home, devil."

Hiccup and Valerie continue to watch, powerless to stop what is happening, but won't move. They stayed there, as the ships have cleared the horizon. Astrid and Fabjorn walk towards their side, as Fabjorn hold Valerie's hand comfortingly, but she didn't respond.

"It's a mess." Astrid started. "You must feel horrible, you lost everything, your father, your tribe, you're best friend."

"Thank you for summing that up." Hiccup sarcastically thanked. "Why couldn't I have killed those dragon's when I found them in the woods? It would have been better for everyone."

"Yup, the rest of us would have done it." She said, before looking at him. "So, why didn't you?"

Hiccup didn't respond unsure.

"Why didn't you?" Astrid repeated.

"I don't know." He answers, as he slightly walks away. "I couldn't."

"That's not an answer." 

"Why is this so important all of a sudden?" Hiccup asks, slightly frustrated.

"Because I want to remember what you say, right now." Astrid says, seriously.

"Oh, for the of-I was a coward, I was weak, I wouldn't kill a dragon." 

"You said 'wouldn't' that time."

"Whatever! I wouldn't! Three hundred years and I'm the first Viking who wouldn't kill a dragon." He answers, upset, before looking away.

"First to ride one though." Astrid says, as Hiccup had a look of realization. "So..."

"I wouldn't kill him because he looked as frightened as I was, I looked at him and I saw myself." He said, as Astrid look at Valerie who was still looking at the ocean.

"Val? How about you? What do you think of Starlight?" She asks, making her eyes widen before looking down.

"Because...I felt our bond from when we were younger." She admitted. "I felt a part of myself within her."

Astrid smiles in satisfaction, as Fabjorn look out into the ocean.

"I bet he's really frightened now, what are you both gonna do about it?" He asks.

"Eh, probably something stupid." Hiccup answers.

"Good, but you've both already done that." Astrid says, as an idea popped up in their heads.

"Then, something crazy." Valerie said, as she and Hiccup run off.

"That's more like it." Astrid said, as she and Fabjorn look at each other and nodded, before running off as well.
